so if i understand right with this family, father absorbs electrical energy and stores it for use meaning his powers have a limit depending on how much he uses, one daughter is a generator and makes energy instead and seems to need to discharge now and again to stay in control and the other daughter seems to have control of the kinetic energy and density of her own body.

@@mariojudge314 it depends on which captin marvel your talking about there has been like 7 of them you have spectrum who is living energy and while having simular powers to lighting she is far more powerful shes circled around the world in 2 seconds iif she dies she explodes in energy destroying the world she can absorb all energy on the electromagnetic spectrum including electrcity she can fly right through stars and cannot be injured while in a form of pure energy unless she is struck by certain enchanted weapons can and can destory a planet by becoming pure energy and flying at a planet faster than the speed of light so she far more powerful she even has cosmic awareness making it so she knows everyhting going on in the universe at once

At one point I actually thought this was her show. Hear me out. Given how old Jefferson is in the show, how reluctant she was to embrace her powers, the fact that she got a lot more character focus than her sister, not to mention how powerful she is, I thought that the title of the show was referring to her. That she would start off as Lightning but eventually succeed her dad as Black Lightning, with the show serving as her origin story. Needless to say I was wrong but it Would have been cool if they went in that direction.

I am just now getting into Black Lightning. Seriously I just started watching it on Netflix a few days ago. I am at the point where Lady Eve dies. Spoilers do not bother me though lol so watching stuff like this video in which they show ahead is not an issue with me.

She really doesn’t have that weakness anymore, that came from her fragile mental state and her body evolving as her powers evolved. When most animals evolve they go through this fever like state that’s cause their body is burning and multiplying cells

She just transformed into her energy form and the poison just burned out of her bloodstream because she was pure energy.

I like how out of nowhere the budget of the 3rd season just skyrocketed and we got near movie-level vfx for a season for no reason at all.

They had low ratings. Which is kind of sad because I was finally starting to get into after the dc crossover and gravedigger came into the picture. That gave it the boost it really needed. I think if they took the approach the had in season three from the start, the ratings would've been so much better.

If I remember correctly, there was this lady meta human who can create some sort of "dream world" and has access to someone's conscience. She consulted Jennifer because Jen was having trouble controlling her power. 3:53 showed how Jen saw herself as a threat/monster which is one of the main reasons why she couldn't control it, because she didn't accept her powers.

The first time I watch this I find China Anne McClain play lightning

She reminds me of storm and the Phoenix from X-Men mixed together

She's so powerful her dad couldn't absorb even half of her energy at 7:11

Season 1 and 2 were literally the best

People see how powerful she is now imagine I'd she had a child with a speedster they'd be powerful not only have speed like his or her father but the same abilities as there mother.

I'm sad that season 4 is the last season but even more sad that China/Jennifer will be on less episode because even before it came out that this was the show last season this was going to be her last season anyway
