I watch this lion so many times and I still get emotion each time ❤

I swear he looked like he possessed man characters from young early days, like a little playful but nice little kid. And he remained that’s way until almost maturity. That’s special bc he was a lion, not a puppy. You can just see it. He was a remarkable lion with a remarkable story of returning to the wild while born in captivity. Who knows how long he lived after being freed. What matters was he was definitely able to survive in the wild and returned to where he belonged. R.I.P. Christian!

His happy life already started from that day John and Ace bought him ;) ;) ;). Accoding to me, John and Ace is 2 of the best human beings ever to walk this earth.

Christian was an amazing lion. John and Ace got him at an apartment store, Harrods. With the help of Bill and Virginia McKenna they took him to George Adamson who was able to one day release Christian and his wives into the wild in Kenya. One day he never came back. He was 500 lb. lion. I hope he had a good life. I love Christian ! 🦁💖

This is indeed a once in a life time story Sooooooooo ethereal both music n the main characters in it Everytime l watch these episodes l keep sobbing n yearning to be a part of this amazing story...wanting badly to hug n fondle Christian ....such an awesome boy May God bless n unite Christian n his two angelic Aussie saviours n ofcourse me in heaven so that happiness will prevail once again Amen ...love you to bits Christian!!!

I adore christian, John and ace, had an incredible experience with him. It's a nice in a life time thing for the few. I have seen different cuts of this story and reunification. Brings me to tears every time! Love it! Just like the Aspinall reunion with the Gorillas. Faith in humanity. We need that positive vibe!

I have never never seen a video like this and it's so incredible beautiful that I only want to cry. I understood finally they give him back his freedom, the only right thing to do. This lion was a gift from God so mankind can learn from them.

Leona actually lions can be very tender and are mammals. They are unfortunately wild because they need to feed on flesh

Can't see the film for tears pouring down my face . I saw it many many moons ago and it has more effect on me now in my 80s than before . A truly truly love affair . This is how it will be in the new kingdom when Jesus returns. How wonderful is that .

Made me in tears.lion is a animal where most of our human beings are fear for..but then..the fear animal also knows the true feelings of love which most of our human Community today don't bother at all.we human being should learn the true meaning of love from those animals.

That lovely lion Christain loved those two men so much. There was another video that showed Christain following John and Ace as they left the first time and that lion looked so crushed as he felt he was being left behind. There was no way that he could understand what they were doing for him. So after not seeing them for a year, he was all over them like he didn't want them to leave again. Of course they had to, I think that is likely why the lion's attitude was different the second time and why.he suddely left in the night and ever came back. In the video John Rendall recognized and discussed the difference in Christain the second time they came back. Some people might think that it is utterly ridiculous to be attributing human like emotions to that animal, but you can clearly see how that lion was so attached to those men when they were raising him and the first reunion. So many people act as if cats don't have feelings because they are so independent by nature. Just look at the lion story about Elsa in the book by Joy Adamson "Born Free", that book was so loaded with pictures of that lion with it's paws wrapped around her neck and it sleeping on their cot. There was a story about a man whose daughter died young and her cat was so utterly devastated by the loss, that it took about six months for that the cat to to recover. The dad didn't know what to do, but did see the cat slowly readjust.

Their last meeting with him was more emotional considering it was the last time he was ever seen before him and his pride left

Merveilleuse histoire de Christian qui me fait pleurer car je pense à tous mes animaux qui sont partis au ciel !!..... Leurs regards sont si profonds.
