@@Ria.ray77257 Will pray for you friend. I struggle massively with the same thing. I often feel timid and shy to proclaim Christ for fear of confrontation and scorn. It's rooted in an unhealthy fear of man instead of fearing the LORD but we must remember God is busy sanctifying us and building up our character so give yourself some space and ask for His grace to make you bold. Timothy was once very timid and at the end he was a fierce soldier for Christ. That can be us! Peace to you brother/sister (sorry, unclear by your tag)

I have never heard a speech as you have just given in my life, but given in the Houses of Parliament. What I say sir, is congratulations for having the commitment and courage to stand and say what you truly believe and what many people believe to be the truth, in such an establishment. Although we are to pray for our peace by praying for kings or governors in our case we must know that satan gave his power and great authority to the beast in revelation book and he appears as a lamb speaking like a dragon with totalitarian dictatorship against Christian freedom to preach and practice our faith and in that case we should pray against antichrist government but for the kingdom of Jesus Christ to continue preaching and practicing faith to the end of the world

Christianity and Politics are never compatible.. A christian who partakes in politics will be compromised by their Christian beliefs. and When Christainity and Politics combine, Politics will win..☹️..Ask Tim Farron.. Politics Is of the 'worldly' Kingdom...As Christianity is of GODS Kingdom.. Choose whom you will serve.. You cannot have two masters.. As Politicians ,and there parties seek to win the approval of people , gain popularity of people of this world, and be popular amongst the world.. Christians however, as bond servants of Christ Jesus do not seek popularity from mankind and its world..never have done. Hence so many martyrs ober 2000 years.. Galatians 1:10: Paul said: "Am I now trying to win the favor and approval of men, or of GOD , Or am I seeking to please someone? If I were still trying to be popular with men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. 1 Thess 2:4: Amplified Bible: But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel [that tells the good news of salvation through faith in Christ], so we speak, not as [if we were trying] to please people [to gain power and popularity], but to please God who examines our hearts [expecting our best].

Nothing has thrilled my heart quite like listening to this man talking this way in our Parliament. I cried and rejoiced listening to him, especially when he quoted scriptures and spoke the truth of the gospel. It has given me hope for our society, when it feels like we were beginning to drown in a swamp of evil everywhere. Psalm 83:18 (KJV) Do you know why the majority of bible translators have removed God's name from the bible .. and replaced 'YHWH' with the title 'LORD'? Millions of people don't worship the true God because they do not put faith in the God that Jesus worshipped. Romans 10:13 Very few translations on Biblehub and Biblegateway have the accurate rendering according to the original manuscripts.

It really troubles me that so few in younger generations will have any idea of these values that are embedded in our Christian heritage. Nick has given us such manna from heaven! Will generations to come recognise the stories and biblical texts in everyday speech? Not know the symbolism and allegory that is integral to our life. Not see the Christian heritage in art, music, iconography, sculpture and more. Lose the richness of life itself. Forget the essence that binds us. Be blind to the humility that honesty requires. We need not be fearful to be open to the bible and its teachings.

Thank you Nick for this amazing speech. I and many others have prayed that Christian members of Parliament would be brave and speak boldly for our great Christian heritage. May you and your family be greatly blessed.

The irony of modern UK and other "western" nations, is that it is the Biblical foundations of these nations that allowed most people of most nations to come, live, enjoy and even partake in the government, and believe anything you choose. (Something that "foreigners and emigrants cannot do in the counties of their origin) However some have abused this PRIVILLEGE and make hell on earth for the original inhabitants of the host countries that are Democratic and free.

More of this is needed. As Christians we have been too silent, or too tolerant. In the era of Sodom and Gomora, the word of God was rare. We must be bold in living our faith, so that the word of God will not be rare in our generation ❤

@X point taken. He mentioned doing wrong and that Jesus came to die for sinners. Repentance wasn’t mentioned though, and you are right that this is important. Repentance is a complete turn around from sin - a full 360 degree change in lifestyle and behaviour. We don’t so much as make a choice, as we are led to repent from an understanding that we are sinners and without any hope of salvation and right relationship with God without Jesus dying to take our punishment upon Himself. I do think it leads people to question the place of Christianity in their own lives and whether they truly know what the Bible teaches on how to be saved, and who Christ was. It is a gentle talk that leads people to question and discover more about who we are in relation to God. Blessings

@X altho I have to say im sure the bible says"judge not that you are not judged"+"judgement belongs to the Lord".,I know it's hard not to when we hear or not hear something pivotal in our view from someone who claims to b a Christian, however it really is God's call.WE are called to love everyone as ourselves as Nick said. If we, the church, were motivated overwhelmingly by Christ like love,I think we would turn more of.our world up side down perhaps than we currently have. I speak to myself as well as you.

Beautiful message. As an American, I was blessed to hear this. Many claim to be Christians but few are actually redeemed. Why are there so few? Because in our sin, we refuse to humble and submit ourselves to the true God. We are saved by grace alone, thru faith alone, by scripture alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone.

Wow. This has given me so much hope again. I’ve just move from my home to another city to preach with my wife and two kids we are a young family and with everything going on in society have felt a bit overwhelmed. Thank you, Nick, for your clear, Christ-honouring, gospel-focused, Biblically-informed speech in that place. Yes, we do need more Christian politicians to speak up and to speak out forthrightly and graciously for their faith and for their Saviour, especially as so many others have so much to say in contradiction. Our nation has slipped so far from Biblical moorings which promoted so much good, as you outlined so well. But God is still still at work here in the lives of each one who has given first place to the Saviour He sent us two millenia ago. Thank you for purposefully demonstrating that. And we keenly anticipate Jesus' return as He promised. Perhaps very soon?

@@ghiorghizmeu3147 We need to pray even more for the truth about the so-called LGBT movement to be made clear before it is too late to resist the slavery that they want to bring on the UK and the whole of the west. Hopefully they have gone too far and even real gays and feminists will have the courage to speak out against the trans agenda. They are actually taking away real women's rights, opportunities, medals and personal safety. The trans agenda is also labelling non-stereotypical children as trans and putting them o the real conversion therapy that is protrans only counselling leading to sterilisation through drugs, hormones and surgeries. They and the rest of the CRT alphabet are the ones spreading real division hatred and intolerance. This is all part of the strategy of "problematisation" - ie portraying everything stable and traditional as a problem that needs to be pulled down. Unfortunately, this indoctrination is systematic in and through every layer of the education system.
