you should read the book I think y'all need to understand him, he grew up with a crackhead mum, had a relationship with an older lady. he was fucked up then he had Ana, everything changed for him. I think he felt that having a baby would take Ana away from him. And also he had fears of not being a good parent.

I think that sometimes some men need more time to process an unexpected pregnancy.. My husband had a similar reaction about getting mad and saying that he had plans for us, when I got pregnant, but now he loves our little 4 months old baby more than anything in this world ❤😊

yep when i found out that i was pregnant that weekend my husband had a trip fishing in the ocean with his buddies and i had a trip out of town with the wives he asked me to pack him a goodie bag for the road they were driving 4 hours to get to the boat ramp. i put a blue baby booty in his goodie bag with a print out of the pregnancy results and note saying lets talk about when we both get over the shock. 3 days later he came home and said well i love you and we will get through this like we do everything else. im still convinced had we talked that day it would not have went over well cause neither one of us were ready.

Clickbait. Anna is the alpha this entire series. That's why the plot works.

How is this him being an asshole though! I don’t understand the title nor the comments! They seem to have agreed on not having kids, he obviously doesn’t want kids, they chose a birth control method, and she was irresponsible and neglected her part of the agreement they had! A woman’s wishes and boundaries are not the only ones that matter, men get a say on whether they want to have kids or not too!!!! (And in this situation, terrible childhood, unhealed past trauma … etc) PS: I’m a woman and I can still empathise with him and see why he reacted the way he did.

I see nothing wrong with his reaction towards the pregnancy based on the kind of relationship they have. This is someone who doesn't share his space with anyone and is now adjusting to live a normal life with Anna. Anna had the responsibility to go for the shot 💉 to prevent the pregnancy but she failed to. Some men with normal upbringing still acts worse than Christian did the moment they hear of an unplanned pregnancy and you expect someone like Christian to start jumping with joy to this news? Give him a break! He just needs some time to process the whole thing so knows how to replan his life and that of the unborn. Was he not the same person telling the others to be careful with Anna because she's pregnant?

If she no longer wanted to continue to the terms they agreed to, she could’ve left him and married someone else who did want to have children. She should’ve told him she had changed her mind and wasn’t going to get her shots and let him decide whether he wants to use condoms or get a vasectomy, change his mind and want to have children or leave her.

And i lost respect for her when she said we will figure it out. Imagine when baby comes into the world and know that parents didn’t want me at first place. And all they are doing now is figuring out and suffering in their life because of me. i wish they would have been happy for news of my arrival. Such a traumatic experience right into the belly. Man is not right neither women in this case. Oh please don’t take it personally. Its just a view for this scene.

They married after knowing each other for 4 or 6 weeks, go figure... Due to the character he portraits (so outstandingly), I'd say his frustration is fully understandable! Anna had ONE responsibility in their relationship: To take the birth control shot.

That's way too soon to be getting married right when they started dating their relationship turned abusive Anna should've walked when he started stalking her as well as controlling her she only stayed because he was rich if Christian was a poor guy she wouldn't touch him. She would've got a restraining order on him EL James has no idea how real relationships work she says this is a love story um, no it's not.

Sometimes it works out though. My aunt and uncle met and got married within 3 months and have been happily married for the past 18 years and still going strong. Sometimes you just know who the right person is for you and in this case he (Christian) is a toxic asshole at times, but from what I've learned watching this show he actually did give a damn. He was just scared little boy trapped in a man's body. He had stuff to work through. She helped him a lot though.

Unlike Massimo in "365" he violates Laura's boundaries time & time again because he wants to establish he's the alpha & always gets what he wants. he did have mummy issues from the book, I got to understand him more. He had a crackhead mum before he was adopted. He was abused by one of his crackhead mom's boyfriend . He also was in the room with his crackhead mom for days after her death

His birth mother who died when he was 4 was Ella.

He said in a interview for one of the movies that his wife doesn't want to watch the movies which he was fine with and I believe she has never gone to any of the 50 Shades Premieres. That could of changed though and she has since watched them.

He should have never played this part. He wasn't a strong actor for this part. And I've heard him say how much he hated doing the movies. After reading the scripts he could have always turned them down. But it launched him to start them cuz I never heard of him before these movies. Heck the guy playing His bodyguard or even her male guard would have been much better at portraying Christian grey
