always luv listening to your teaching...at count 6:50ish you touch on something that has always been something that makes me go hmmm...in the Lord's prayer when it says "lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil" ESPECIALLY now with apparently "left out" of the Bible books supposedly being found in and under the Vatican and rumors that things were indeed left out or changed in the Holy Bible and since we know how the catholic church did indeed "think to change times and laws" and admit to changing the Sabbath from the last day of the week to the first. how do we know that the Lord's prayer wasn't changed or tweeked? It has always seemed to me it should say (and maybe did in the beginning) "lead us from temptation and deliver us from evil"!!!..........Happy Sabbath !

@@belindasierra9275 the old testament isn't the law. The Torah is the law. The rest of the Testament consists of historical stories that teach us lessons and about God. And some psalms and proverbs of wisdom and prophesies and promises from God. And the old testament actually consists of the new covenant of God writing is law in our hearts. Also the Old Testament consists of so many stories of God being a just judge as well as being extremely long suffering and graceful "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." When one thinks about it, pride was the greatest enemy to the most powerful and beautiful of all the angels, and he surrendered to it. Like sin, 'i' is in the middle of pride. We definitely need to be extra vigilant & surrender to Christ and carry our cross daily, for none of us have a reason to be proud in ourselves, but rather of Him that made us and sanctified us in Christ Jesus. Hosanna...it doesn't matter what or how much English you know.. Jesus accepts you as you are He will bless you and keep you in your way's, so all you need is to do is let Gods Holy Spirit change you and fit you for Heaven. Clothed with human nature All glory far behind The MISSION of this great teacher Seared deep within His mind With strength of equal value Of guilty fallen man The sun, the moon, the stars above All viewed this wonderous plan Weighed down by the crushing WRATH of God Drinks the punishment of our sin His Heart ablaze His soul a slave Still MERCY shon within With this great feat accomplished In TRIUMPH He will lead All who come with contrite heart Bought with BLOOD and TEARS.

I am looking forward to seeing Doug Batchalor at the Pa. campmeeting I really enjoy his sometimes awkward humor,, I really do like it,as my children tell me it's alot like my own,,,God bless him and his family and all those involved in having these much appreciated broadcasts that he has.

Thank you Pastor Batchelor for sharing the word of God As a young person falling out from the teachings i was bought up with as a Seventh Day Adventist coming across this particular sermon and particularly today the opening sabbath is Gods love for me reminding me that I am my biggest enemy and that i cannot and should not blame others or the devil for following the teachings of the circular world. I finally realized that every single teachings out there just talks about loving yourself, choosing yourself and your happiness, looking after yourself and grooming yourself. Every teaching is centered around the 'self' theory that we have forgotten and abondoned the most important of all..God the Father and the creator who should be magnified. Jesus knew you fixed that pole. His reward in the form of a smile is better than a zillion mortal smiles. That’s how I get away from being selfish, when I do escape, that is. I say I’m doing this as unto the Lord, and then I look up, and I know he’s smiling at me. Anything i do for others is worth His approval. Love your sermons. This is so true I've seen this happen before, there are a few pastors that are actually obsessed with bringing in academia references to the sermon e.g. great thinkers of the world and quoting their writings then correlating that to the Bible ?
