I recently took a trip to Europe. Upon my return the lord has impressed this message and to become sold out for Christ completely. I have been reading and studying like crazy. It like I can’t get enough of Gods word in my heart. Yes, I’m an SDA member and sharing the love of the lord has now become a priority in my life.

When you say the eclipse wasn't a world wide event, so it's impossible that it was part of ends times prophecy, I get what you are saying. However, with the advent of TV and internet, anything and everything is made to the known world. Someone across the world, can see the eclipse from their TV or phone screen. Just a thought. Fire from Heaven? Well, a few Nuclear bombs will make it certainly seem like Fire from Heaven. Just another thought. Time will tell. I had dreams when I was 12, and 16 years old that I had 2 teenage kids. We were in a lage city where they were being destroyed by the machines of war. I have two teenage kids now. Hmmm... On 2016 I had a prophetic dream that me and my two teenage kids (they were just 6 and 8 back then), that we were walking down a country road. Hundreds of kids were lining the roads crying...coming up to me asking where their mommies and daddies were. I couldn't tell them cause I couldn't remember what happened to all of them. Just that something huge happened that killed millions. I got my children to a safe house. And when I said good bye to them, White/silver billowing clouds came rolling in from East to west. White lightening came out and hit all of us. But it didn't hurt. It was warm and comforting. When I woke up, I was in the building with my kids. When I tried to make sense of everything, my son just told me to relax. It was all fine. That I couldn't remember about the past or talk about it, because "He" won't let me. It then dawned on me that the God just came abd everything was going to be alright. We were saved and we we going to be ok. Of course...this could be just a dream. But I do believe it's God telling me to prepare. It was the most intense and dramatic dream i ever had.

I find it a lot more difficult to surrender myself completely to God to the point of getting out of my comfort zone than finding any error in this message. I love the way Pr. Finley cites passages of the Bible and The Spirit of Prophecy, for this way I feel assured that it is the Word of God I am listening to. This was a most lifting video!! I read the Scriptures and books from EGW, but since I cannot attend to church due to my health condition, I watch sermons, studies and interviews online in order to feel part of the Church and to be constantly aware of where we are in the stream of time. The problem is that there are many people voicing "opinions" rather then stick to the Bible. And lots of people feel the world is entitled to their opinion, rather than God's inspired word. So when I come across solid teaching, I like to comment, thank and pray for those who are responsible for that enterprise in order to encourage them (yes, I believe we all need each other and see that others value your sacrifice to spread the message so we don't have to feel as lonely as Jesus did in connection to human beings, since God was always with Him and He was always searching for the presence of the Father). And if anyone bothers to read my comments and wants to ask questions, I am happy to share the Lord's teachings with them. That's all I meant with my comment. Here to serve! 😊🤍

I admire Pastor Finley so much. He is so committed to his work of spreading the gospel and helping people toward knowing Christ. I am 86 and a new Adventist. I have a family of unbelievers. Others who are evangelical. I pray that I will through the Holy Spirit be able to direct them toward the truth. Also neighbors and former neighbors. I have no idea what to do but I am praying God will show me. I have a wonderful church and pastor and am very grateful for them. Thank you!

I can attest to that, many people don't want to go, because they feel abandoned. The slogan " I will go: then what? There's hardly any support I have been serving the LORD in the Mission field since 2017, and often feels abandoned.. but for the grace of God, I am doing what He has called me to do.

​@@HL365 in the book of Revelation there is a scripture that says "he who is righteous be righteous still, he who is holy be holy still" and it says the same concerning he who is not righteous and unclean or filthy My question is "is there a difference between being righteous and being holy". I once heard a pastor say that during those days there will be righteous people and there will be holy people. I always believed that Jesus made us righteous and holy by His work on the cross through our faith in Him. I believed that we received His righteousness and His holiness once we believed on Him. Can you please explain the meaning of that scripture

To skirt the issue, as if the fact that EGW mentions Nashville and New York specifically, is irrelevant is rather odd. She also mentioned San Francisco and it was indeed destroyed. The fact that the Nashville incident hasn’t occurred yet doesn’t mean it won’t because she was way too specific about the pillars in that vision to just have been a general vision about all cities. Maybe Pastor Finley is worried about blowback, but that shouldn’t be our concern- you can’t be an SDA and worry about that because it is something that goes with the territory. There has already been much supposition about 9/11 being the fulfillment of EGWs NYC vision which can be found in Testimonies Volume 9 page 12. Whether that was a direct fulfillment I cannot say, but Nashville has the only pagan temple in the US and it would be no surprise that God would destroy that temple, near the close of this earths history, as a rebuke to a Protestant nation which He has blessed so much and which will enforce the breaking of one of His commandments. Nashville specifically needs to be warned along with other sinful cities on this planet.

This was a very good discussion. I was a bit disappointed, tho, when in talking about the destruction of Nashville and other cities, that they just mentioned "natural disasters". . Ellen White makes it very clear that she saw "balls of fire" come down , and that the people knew they were not natural, but judgments from God. . May we be good Bereans, and help others prepare so that they will not say: "You knew! Why didn't you tell me?" in a despairing, accusatory manner.

Hi Pastor Mark, thank your dedication to serve God all your life. I started following your sermons 25 years and every sermon of yours is so amazing May God bless you. I have few questions on New York City prophecy. In 2000, I was a student in Seventh day adventist college of Gitwe/Rwanda, that’s when for the first time I read the Ellen G. white vision on New York City buildings and couldn’t understand clearly. On September 11, 2001, I watched on BBC news that America was attacked by terror and that the World Trade Center was burned down as described in the vision. My question is the following: 1. Wasn’t what happened to World Trade Center, the fulfillment of the prophecy or part of what you come to read on New York City given how the significant of the destroyed buildings economically and politically? 1.1 If not why? 1.2 If yes, shouldn’t the church have missed the opportunity to warn the city considering the prophecy was given more than 100 years before that terrible tragedy happened? 1.3 If yes what lesson the SDA church had learned from the tragedy for the future? Yes,God's word does say " no one knows the Day or the Hour" but we can have a rough estimation according to the signs of when it's coming.

There's nothing wrong to anticipate the coming of Christ. But the rough estimation shouldn't be setting dates for it.

Thank you for clarifying the April 2024 Eclipse in Nashville. It does become concerning when some channels make a 'big deal' in order to get attention on social media. It does nothing but cause distractions, excitement and confusion. I don't see any follow up programme apologising when it comes to nothing. Before posting, those channels really need to think carefully because they'll end up losing credibility!!
