Thanks for this video, Haley! I’d be really interested in a Christian testimony vlog discussing how you initially came to Christ, any doubts you may have developed, and how your faith has evolved over the years if you feel comfortable sharing. :)

Because this is a place to look for God
“Hearing God” looks like a great book! Being conversational with God is so important. I’ve just recently gotten used to being in constant, comfortable, intimate conversation with the Lord - and it’s amazing! It’s vitally important to being close with God. I’m sure “Hearing God” is a great read for anyone who hasn’t gotten into this.
Great video! We definitely need more Christian booktubers out there. I really appreciate the fact that you talk about book boundaries from a Christian perspective in your reading vlogs/wrap ups. 🥰 I recently read ‘You’re Not Enough (and that’s okay)’ by Allie Beth Stuckey, highly recommend!

Yes! There are Christian BookTubers, but so happy that she did this video and more are being adding to the list! I love that Haley's sharing her faith!
Books are so important and impactful!! It's great to learn more about your faith.
I honestly think this is my favorite book vlog you’ve done so far! Trying to find theological/Christian books to read can be more intimidating than finding a casual fiction read. This was really helpful for me so thank you!!
I also grew up in a church where people didn’t “hear from God” and all that jazz. But let me tell you! When you build a relationship with Him and hear and know His voice, it is a complete game changer! I’m so excited you’re getting into that and would love to hear updates on how it’s all going for you!
My gosh it’s so wonderful to see someone use their platform so boldly to share about Jesus. So rare these days sadly. Bless you mucho n feel free to reach out with any prayer requests, people don’t ask that enuf too!
Francine Rivers “Mark of the Lion” Series is her best work!!! A must read

Phenomenal. No lie. Absolutely amazing.
just here to say her content lately, and her energy are so amazing, so positive, and just mentally stronger than before. the happy glow is noticeable, and i love it so much.
I read Bob Goff’s “Everybody Always” when Haley recommended it forever ago and it was a life changing book. It helped me to strengthen my relationship with Christ and learn how to love hard people. I highly recommend anything by Bob Goff if anyone were to consider buying or renting one of these books :) Sending love!
Love it when people talk about books that are about their religion. Even if it’s not the same faith I have there still might be a book I enjoy! And I also think that studying different believe systems is so interesting !
i have so many c.s lewis books and now i can't wait to read them!💛💛
i read Love Does & Everybody, Always because you suggested them, and they changed my life!! they’re two of my favorite books that i’ve ever read. so special. thank you so much for making this video! 🤍
also, i read both love does and everybody always because you recommended them forever ago, and guys she isn’t kidding, they are such beautiful books, very easy read, and really gives you a new perspective !

I grew up Catholic but stopped practicing actively after the Sex Abuse scandal in 2006. Thanks for these suggestions Haley. I loved Love Does so much.
i'm a non-religious person who is endlessly fascinated by religious communities and your recommendations are very interesting!! i'm also trying to read most of c.s. lewis's stuff lol

I hope your still on the narrow path and I pray you keep on and fight the good fight and finish the race! Tempations from the world are hard but Jesus is present and sovereign and will help you if he wills!
This video was such an encouragement to me, I'm now writing down some Christian books to read on godly womanhood, personal and spiritual struggles, and God's character. Thank you Haley, I love when you talk about spiritual growth and Christian development it encourages me and I'm sure many others! ❤
I love this so much!! I love how confident you are in your faith and how excited you are to share it with others. This is the true definition of sharing God's word and love for others. You're amazing !! Keep it up :)
Your hair looks so good!! Also I literally love this new book tuber style. I’m super into books so I am excited to see what you like to read and take some recommendations from you😍
Ahh, I can’t wait to read holier than thou! I love Jackie Hill Perry and I already know this book is gonna be good
I’m 70% through Live No Lies and I loveeeee ittt
Screwtape Letters is also incredible, offering a different perspective that you can really sit and chew on :-)
Would love an updated version of this, if you've read any other favorites these past two years. Great video!
I met Bob Goff a couple years ago when he spoke at my college, he’s just as incredible in person as he is in his books!! I haven’t finished Love Does but Everybody Always genuinely changed my life.
Thank you for never shying away of talking about your faith!
This was super helpful! Lately I’ve been looking for some good Christian books to read and now I have a good list of them!❤️
Yess! Finally the video I been waiting for, time to read some Christian books!🤍
I am a 49 (about to be 50 in like 4 days) year old Christian woman who loves books so I follow various BooKTubers (have a channel myself…Dbooknerd). I am so encouraged to see a Booktuber someone boldly displaying their faith and someone so young! I will be checking out some of these books and look forward to more of what you share on your channel (whether it is specifically Christian or not).
I definitely did not think I would want to read Christian books but you seriously have changed my way of thinking about them and I can’t wait to start!
I recommend Loveology written by John Mark Comer! Its SO good if you are a christian in a relationship but also if you are single. It gave me so much depth in my relationship, it is very easy to read and understand, but he still touches so many heavy and hard topics to talk about!
It is so great to find a young youtuber/booktuber that is also christian! thank you for maing these videos!!
Living Life Backward by David Gibson is one of the most eye opening books I’ve ever read, definitely recommend.
Absolutely love this list!!! Love C.S. Lewis, a lot of those are on my TBR list too! Just added some new ones from your video to my list. To make a recommendation of my own, I highly recommend the book "The Reason" by Lacey Sturm, who's a Christian rock singer. She talks about her rough past and her journey going from being an atheist and also going though deep depression and almost committing suicide to finding God. I really recommend anything from her. She also wrote "The Mystery" about finding true love in this broken world, and "The Return" about how to love God back with your life. All amazing books that have changed my perspective on life.
I’m definitely going to check some of these out! Thank you for sharing your book finds
Looooooooove you talking about your faith and being so confident yet humble in it❤️ I’ve always enjoyed your content but I enjoy it so much more when I can bond with you through Jesus 🥰
you were the reason I read Mere Christianity and Love Does & Everybody Always last year and I’m so thankful for that :,) helped me with my relationship w Jesus so much so thank you so much

Stay on the narrow path! Don't give into temptation and grow in the faith daily. I hope you haven't strayed away. Much Love
Oh gosh, I know this video is old, but I have some amazing recs!!! Christian fiction must reads are the Seer series by Rachelle Dekker, the Ravenwood Trilogy by Morgan L. Busse, and The Edge of Belonging by Amanda Cox. All sooooo good!! Also, any book by Ted Dekker is gonna be a great read.
Redeeming Love has to be One of My Fave book of All Time. : )
a lineage of grace by Francine rivers is such a beautiful book! it is definitely my favourite christian fiction book! it helped me understand more of the four female characters who don't really have a big role in the bible. I hope you will read it one day!
Fiction Christian book DEFINITELY worth reading is: 'The Five People You Meet in Heaven'... it's amazing! very like easy to read (I've read it when I was around 12y o. I guess) but at the same time it can completely change the perspective we have on our live 😊😇
Hi,, Haley! I am a 70 year old grandmother and I LOVED this video. You have recommended some amazing books, some of which I have read throughout my many years. You have excited me to want to read them again. God bless you.
The doggie is darling 😍 I recommend "The bad Catholic's guide to the catechism".
I know this is an old video but I’m new to your channel since I’m just now getting into reading and I had no idea you were a Christian. I’m currently reading reading Return of the King and bawled my eyes out when Aragorn was with Éowyn, Faramir and Merry because it reminded me of the compassion of Jesus.
ALSO Haley I feel like you would absolutely love Timothy Keller! I got my degree in Christian Studies and Tim Keller was someone I was constantly reading in my down time in college. He’s really easy to understand and he just has the biggest heart for justice and love. I recommend Generous Justice!!
alrighty here comes my recommendations (:(: explicit gospel by matt chandler to live is christ to die is gain by matt chandler crazy love by francis chan forgotten gif by francis chan spiritual slavery to spiritual sonship by jack frost A MUST READ to hell with the hustle by jefferson bethke radical by david platt the tale of three kings by gene edwards & last but not least the screw tape letters by cs lewis (:(:
C. S. Lewis was an excellent author, still think his "The Scewtape Letters" was his best book.
just bought 5 copies of love does for my siblings and parents! so excited to give it to them for Christmas!
I recommend reading “every believer confident” it’s a great illustration of apologetics
These books all sound so amazing!!! Definitely gonna get all of these books for sure!!
i have been looking for some great christian books to help grow my faith. thank you and i loved the video as always :)
Love the Great Divorce, Love More than a Carpenter, Love Mere Christianity. Will definitely check out the others.
I read C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity" for school and it's seriously my 2nd favorite book it explained things I already knew but with analogies and in a way that was easy to understand yet still slightly academic if that makes sense. Anyway, I'm not good at putting things into words so it really helped me to be able to express these things I believed in a clear way :D Also, my 1st favorite is the Bible but you could probably guess that lol
C S Lewis - Mere Christianity More than a carpenter Love does - bob goff Everybody always - bob Goff Love lives here - maria Goff John mark commers - The ruthless elimination of hurry Live no lies Gentle and Lowly Hearing god - Dallas William The great divorce -CS Lewis Redeeming love The knowledge of the Holy Ghost The Problem of pain - CS Lewis The worlds last night
Francine Rivers is an amazing author and maybe my second most favourite after C.S. Lewis. Her "mark of the lion" series is another masterpiece that stars with "a voice in the wind" so please read that one. You will love it as much as the "redeeming love".
in my tenth grade religion class we read the screwtape letters by CS lewis and I definitely think you should put that on your TBR!!

I love hearing you talk about these books and I can not WAIT to read them!!
New subscriber - these sound like really good recommendations. I like that you don’t spend too much describing each book.
I'm a Muslim but i find that Christian media in a western world shares a lot of our values and it's nice to see, sort of homely in comparison with everything else
Thank you for being open about your faith! So inspiring. Its so important to be open with our relationship with Jesus and I loved this video! God bless you!

from the edge of eternity is an incredible book, talking about what us as believers are to expect and what we are ultimately called to do on this earth. i listened to the audiobook, it was so incredibly life-changing, i can’t recommend it enough!! i have also heard radical by david platt is good but i haven’t read that one yet!
Thanks for the book recommendations Haley, looking forward to this new chapter in my life delving into deeper meaning of a relationship with God through these reads :)
I really enjoyed your book review. I knew some of the authors but you introduced me to some new names who are clearly well known so I'm grateful for that. My request / challenge if you care to take it, is for you do a review of your favourite reference books or study books for learning the bible (not daily readings more the hard stuff - learning).
I am also reading holier than thou and I love it so much! She brings up really good points that really cause you to think. I also love Redeeming Love! My mom loves Francine Rivers and I really want to read more by her as well. Masterpiece by her is also on my list!
I highly recommend listening to the audio version of Mere Christianity!! I find it much easier to listen to then read :)
I really enjoyed reading This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti. It really has to do with spiritual warfare and the little things God does for us in life. 😊
omg yesss can’t wait to read all this! also love your short hair!
Your hair looks so good!!
I love this Christan Book Haul. I have three of the books that you recommended on my bookshelf, but I can't wait to purchase the rest.

I watched many videos on your channel and always liked your character and how you comment on lusty romance writing and spooky thrillers. And now I see you are a Christian too. Thanks for sharing your faith publicly. Many are afraid to do so. ❤
Great video and I am looking forward to reading some of these that I have not already read! Here are some of my favorites: 1. "The Jesuit Guide to Almost Everything", Fr James Martin 2. "Wounded by Love", St Porphyrios
If you’re looking for more Christian Fiction, I’d recommend Lori Wick (my fav) or Karen Kingsbury. They write romance novels but the challenges they have and the way it relates to their relationship with God. I recommend both of those authors :)
Ugh the new hair is so cute!!!😍

The Case for Christ is also another good book for non believers or those who doubt! :) really good historical book and factual. I recommend :)
My sister is in the process of publishing a book under a Christian company. When it's finalized would you be interested in reading and reviewing it?
Hudson Taylor Gods venture is an amazing book about Gods loving plan for your life. Hudson was a missionary to china and right before he went to china he got a crazy sickness and was about to die. He was completely paralyzed and 2 days later he was completely better. And there is so many more crazy stories in his life. One thing In the book that it said was that “if God planned for me to go to china, i surly won’t die now. And if I do die now it must be God’s plan, so I better not be afraid. Also another wonderful one is women who risk , secret agents for Jesus in the Muslim world by Tom and Joann Doyle. Love your videos and your husband’s. It hard to choose which one to watch first because you post at the same time. 😊
Bob Goff is on my most anticipated-to-read list!! Can't wait!! Love Lives Here sounds so good too. This list is incredible! Thank you for doing it 💗

Haley please put ‘No Compromise: the life story of Keith Green’ by Melody Green on your tbr pile. It’s a game changer. So good.
