C.S. Lewis was a brilliant writer. I started reading Mere Christianity a few months ago and it's so good. Here's another good quote: _"The happiness which God designs for His higher creatures is the happiness of being freely, voluntarily united to Him and to each other in an ecstasy of love and delight compared with which the most rapturous love between a man and a woman on this earth is mere milk and water."_

YES YES YES! That's the first book I have read. ( Emotionally Healthy Spiritually) Cause my big sister suggested me to read it then that's the time start reading books and I find it so helpful and everything I read a book, I can feel the presence of God🔥 IT SO AMAZING!

I hope I'm not too late but the most gorgeous book I've ever read BY FAR is 'the visit' by adrian plass. Its a very thin book which you can read in 30-45 minutes but it'll bring me to tears everytime. Truly beautiful and different from any other book I've ever read!

Thanks! I got to pre-read "God's Road to Manson and Me" by Rick Jones about a Christian correctional officer and his encounters with Charles Manson. It was unbelievably inspiring. Comes out January 19th! It is my fave in many years!!

I am reading The Purpose of Freedom by Joshua Eze (check his youtube channel) right now. Up next is Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus by Ann Spangler/Lois Tverberg, and Expository Exultation by John Piper (or Johnny Pipe as I like to call him lol)

I'd seriously recommend anything by Peter Kreeft but especially the Handbook of Christian Apologetics - laid so many fundamental things out clearly for me in a beautiful, witty, concise way.

I don't know if you have read them or not, but have you read any Dan Brown books? I'd like to read inferno, angles and demons, and origin, but if I need to read DaVinci code first, I think I'll skip on all his books
