Anyway, I think I know more things abt acting/film, because I'm actually film student and I already work in the industry here and there; what you suggest? Animated one is the best ? lol sorry, nope. Keaton is overrated, I rewatched his Batman movies few months ago and only now, when older, I see how bad these movies are and Keaton comes across as funny/robotic not scary at all. Also, he overacts terribly. Bale was the best because he had depth&subtlety no other Batman had, he has great dark, natural charisma about him (which is why he was so great in American Psycho too), he is the only Batman with real substance, showing how messed up Batman is, real animal/beast Batman is, not just primitive puchnes and basic story abt ''boy who wanted to save the city''. Bale as Batman was finally complex guy behind the mask& in the mask, with split personality, a dark hero, just like it was in the comics. This is the essence of Batman and Bale was great in his performance.

Im the same way with Al Pacino. Bale is almost right up there with him. I saw some snippets of the Fighter and Im just blown away. Hello? Empire of the Sun? OMGGGG! Bale's and Nolan's batman will always be my favorite batman, because it feels like theirs is the only version that showcase the humanity and vulnerability of batman perfectly. Visually, Affleck's batman looks the most similar to the comics, but he lacks the sadness and world-weariness that Bale's batman seems to carry with him all the time.

Batfleck is more psychotic than world-weary, and he showcased that perfectly with his side grin as he taunts Superman into one of his traps before their fight in BvS. Bale's my fav but i think Batfleck deserves credit too for playing a different Batman (closer to Frank Miller's version), especially for the sub-par movies that he was in (personally i liked BvS though)

"batman as a funtional entitiy'' - Chris Nolan, this is why these movies cannot be topped with a director who's vision was so cleaar and practical..

Everything about Nolan's vision is just perfect.Yes Bale's Batman is not the most comic accurate but he is the most realistic.The trilogy had a very serious and realistic tone in cinematography which is just pleasing to watch. In my opinion Bale's Batman had awful fight scenes for the most part but this is due to Nolan's preference to not use toο much cgi but instead use practical effects and capture technics as much as possible. It is true that Affleck's Batman and Bruce Wayne is superior in terms of comic accuracy ,fighting skills ,gadgets and looks but it comes with a series of movies with too many flaws and you cant enjoy him as Batman at all .I strongly believe that apart from the fight scenes ,Bale's version is the best incarnation of live action Batman to date.

Vasilis Stergiou actually, except the look (batsuits) and fighting, Bale's Batman is the most comic book accurate. If you look at the stories, the psychology of the character and his behavior, he's the one that resembles the original character the most among all actor who portrayed him. Only Keaton came close to that before. Affleck has the comics aesthetic but lacks pretty much everything else that makes Batman what he is.

@@Slask7 Absolutely agree. Finally someone who shares my opinion as well. Bale has what a lot of other Batman lack. The mystique nature of the character and the utilization of fear and deception. He also has the best Bruce Wayne bar none. And he’s the only Batman who has been able to glide really besides Keaton. He’s also the only one to show preptime and how Batman prepares for each fight. He’s incredibly accurate to the source material in those aspects. Even Nolan’s trilogy has aspects of the first Batman comic in it. No other film has ever explored Batman’s origins like Nolan did and how he became Batman and why. Nolan understood Batman.

@@BMoneyYTB thanks man 🙏🏻 I still can’t get over the fact that many people who claim are “comic book fans” don’t see the great influence of the original sources on the trilogy. Just the story itself is closer to comics than any other adaptation (Begins is a mix of Year One, Shaman, The man who falls - Dark Knight draws from Long Halloween and Killing Joke - Rises plot is taken from Knightfall and The Dark Knight Returns, with some elements from No man’s land and other runs). But again the characters, like you said, truly respect the core of the original versions. Bale’s Bruce is the first one that truly deals (and struggles) with the moral code, he’s the first one who also showcases detective skills - not as much as Pattinson, I agree, but still.. - and above all he managed to be both a symbol of fear and a symbol of hope, with a complete storyarc that wonderfully covered main events and characters from the lore of the Batman mythology. I enjoyed The Batman and the upcoming saga has the potential to be just as good as the trilogy, but as of now nothing in live-action comes close to Nolan’s work, both in terms of the brilliant adaptation and accuracy, and cinematic achievements. (And I say that as someone who grew up loving Burton’s movies).

@@Slask7 It’s good to hear my friend! Yeah Bales Batman just hits different. Especially in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Some scenes are ripped right out of the comics like Long Halloween. Some people say The Batman did a deep dive like no other film, but they forget Batman Begins was literally Batman’s origin story! 💀 😂 Like u said, no other movie has explored Batman’s origins like Nolan did. They explored Batman and his ethos way more than they did with Pattinson. Not to mention Bale had so much more character development too. So already it makes Batman Begins the most accurate Batman movie we have. Nolan’s Batman is so underrated and it’s just sad how once Pattinson debuted people kinda forgot about Bale. Personally I think Bale and Batfleck are both way more comic accurate than Pattinson. He’s a great Batman but he is so overrated.

Warrior they wanted to make the viewers feel like they we're watching from a close point of view like many of Batman's opponents, they barely see his moves because he moves so quickly.

Christian Bale's dedication to the movie and how he takes seriouly at movie career is something people should learn and respect. I just hope more people can admire a dedicated actor more other than just CG created wonders.

Bale had to gain 80-100 lbs of muscle and bulk in a year to play this role. He has changed his body to extremes over and over to play these characters. It’s almost like he loves doing it. All these extremes he puts his body through can’t be good for him.

Bale... More than an actor. He gives everything for his role in every movie. The Machinist, Fighter(IMO; his top success role), Warrior, American Psycho, Batman trilogy, and many much more.

i mean u get an actor who probably doesn’t seem like they could fight in real life won’t convince me that his batman but u got bale over nailing that KC martial arts giving u hope that batman is a real life martial fighter i’m so glad his our batman 😭😭

I'm eating fries

I discovered Batman through this movie. The experience was magical, instantly got interested in this character. Then went on a rabbit whole of discovering batman's comic book origins, now I'm a nerd in the making. Christopher Nolan's trilogy will forever have a special place in my heart.

Batman is great . Raz al ghul is great. But the joker was just perfect. It is so freaking real and you seriously can feel the intense of the acting like it's genuine.

I'm here for Liam Neeson. So glad to hear them speaking highly of his skills too. Absolutely my favourite character in the film!

Amazing. Still the best of the Nolan Batman films imho.

There are few people who can disappear into both the role of Batman and a 60s race car driver.

I remembered few years ago an old friend and I were at the cinema watching Batman V Superman. She told me Christian Bale will always be Bruce Wayne/Batman for her. I was like, “Hmmm Ben Affleck is ok and I haven't really watch any Batman films since I'm more into Marvel” Then now that I've watched the entire Dark Knight Trilogy after binge-watching Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk and Tenet last year. Yup! Christopher Nolan is indeed one of a kind Director, he can do any genres uniquely. Who am I kidding, this is totally a different level than MCU.
