Great video, and NICE rifles. And thank you for telling us what distance you were shooting from. Too many posters sometimes leave that out.

I once shot 5 shots in the same hole with my Christensen, using SK ammo. I was never able to do it again, but came very close to do it in many occasions..

What optics and ammo are you running on each gun?

I'll have to agree with your Fiocchi comments. The 9mm and 45 ACP are the shizz. NOT impressed with their Exacta Winter .22, best 5-shot group (out of about 10-12 tries) was .65". Paid 0.36¢ per round. Not cheap.

This video was helpful to me because it shows that the customized semi-auto can hang with the bolt gun. BUT it sure depends on the ammo. I need to watch this again . I have a 10/22 with the target bull barrel and I also put a Tandemkross bolt in it and a Vortex Diamondback scope. I get sub MOA groups but it depends on the ammo. So I will go through and try ammo where you got your best groups with the 10/22. I am looking at a bolt gun but may go with a CZ. I don't have a ton of money to put into another rifle and CZ seems to give more bang for the buck. No offense, but you need more control of the test. Season the barrel with a few shots before each grouping because the different brands use different lube. Also just get rid of all the brands that shoot like crap and keep a record of which ammo shoots well from each gun. If you zero at 25 yards, then dial up at 50 yards. Thanks.

To drastically improve your Bolt gun groups, you need to do One Simple Thing! Stop breaking position every round. Put your face on the gun and DONT MOVE IT! Run the bolt without moving, tight groups come from consistency.

Pick a bolt rifle that does not use a rotary mag, especially the 1022 mag.

I tried all that ammo you just shot and I gave it away. In my three cz457s I have been shooting sk and center x that is the best ammo I have ever used. I understand that people want to shoot the cheapest they can get good results but I think I wasted more money buying all that crap ammo than I would have buying the good ammo. Your bud Beagleman

my factory Ruger 10/22 shoots 1/4inch groups at 50 yards with cci mini mag and it's 20 years old rifle... lucky me I don't need a expensive ruger to shoot 1/2 inch at 50 yards lol 😆

CA Ranger 22 LR BLK/GRY 18" Barrel locally $829.99 Wasilla, AK; it should be shooting better than that? Carbon Fiber barrels are not made the same; a steel barrel may be a better way to go. Dissipate the heat.

I never really understood shooting groups.... you can move a fraction of a inch and the group will open up. For hunting purposes it really doesn't matter..... the animal will be gone after first shot🤔

@@americanpatriot477 you're leaving out the shooters ability which is by far the largest factor for error. This video is NOT about rifle capabilities as the "testing" being shown is merely just random ammo plinking. No wind speeds are checked, the barrels are not seasoned between selections, there's no accounting for headspace and what is the right/wrong ammo based on that spacing. I appreciate what he's trying to accomplish but there are so many variables here its like making a cake grabbing ingredients blindfolded. Nothing shown means anything because of all the uncounted variables.

@@RimfireAddicted70 And that is why you shoot them from a branch. To remove the most of human error as possible. To see what the rifle is capable of with that person shooting it.

@@americanpatriot477 you're only further reinforcing my point with that statement. If you think shooting from a bench is going to remove human error and validate testing shows how little about testing you know. I'm not attacking you, I think you need to do some research on how testing is performed to learn.
