It’s amazing what a true talented singer and a guitar can do. No gimmicks, nothing overly produced - just well written lyrics, an amazing voice and lots of emotion. Good review!

This is easily one of my favorite songs by Chris. I get goosebumps every time. My suggestion if you haven't heard it already is Starting Over. He and his wife are making eyes at each other through the whole video. I think it's adorable. 💙 from Texas!

It is such a beautiful song. Love it.

It's one of those stories. He'd been writing for others for a long for a long time. His wife talked him into going out on his own. This was his first single, with all of his hopes pinned to it. He says it shot straight to #46. The record label pulled the album. That same month his dad died. Devastated, his wife surprised him by buying a jeep Cherokee he had been looking at online, out in Phoenix. They flew out to get it and drive it home. He said "you know its gonna break down, right?" It did, once. While driving home, he wrote his song "Traveler;" which won him a Grammy for "Best Country Solo Performance" and a nomination for "Song of the Year", and the album won a Grammy for "Best Country Album" and was nominated for "Album of the Year" plus many other awards. Sounds like a movie script, doesn't it?

Second is something I haven't seen you react to much of which is bluegrass. Chris fronted and wrote songs for and with the band The Steeldrivers. So many good ones but try Can You Run. Beautiful song. Keep it up. I learn do much on your posts!! And watch them all to the end so I'm a real MVP lol

He is an amazing song writer. This is one of many originals. Here is a list of some he wrote that others recorded.. OHHHH I am so glad I hopped on here before bed.... on vacation this week and didn't wanna go to sleep yet and this popped up :) This is one of my favorite songs by Chris and nobody ever reacts to it.
