I totally agree 💯 I've been asked to sing the National Anthem for the past 3 years at my church, but declined. But after listening to the man, I now feel the most comfortable and confident. I must be honest, this has been the best National Anthem I have ever witnessed

I wish KZread had a love button. I agree that much. There are a couple people who used to be in my life decades ago. I don’t want to be back in their life again. That train has passed. But I do wonder what their life is like. I wish them well since I still love and care about them. Just can’t live with them. I’d love to know what they are listening to tonight.

Your literally the only other person that I've seen feel the same way I do....lol...every time I'm talking about Chris with anybody & we're discussing his catalog I always say What are u listening to is one of my top 3 favs & they either haven't ever heard it or don't get what's so special about it....I'm like r u kidding me? Yal needa pay more attention to the story of his lyrics. Idk why but it drives me insane to meet people who say they love songs but can't tell u their interpretation of the song lyrics & they say - I just like the beat, or I just like his/her voice....smdh....I wanna shake em , how the hell can anyone listen to music & not feel & interpret the lyrics in some way shape or form?? I'm such a huge fan of music & songwriters , I always connect to a song based upon how I relate it to my life then I wanna go see if the artist explains the back story to the song & if they didn't write it I look up & become fans of the writer immediately. I've literally found so many great songs I may would have never heard if I didn't do that. Prime example - Up to the Mountian by Patty Griffin....it wasn't until I heard Kelly Clarkson cover it that I found & fell in love with that song & then Patty. Anyway, I'll end my rant....yal be blessed 💛
Imma tell you something right now. I am 63 yrs old. My Dad is 92 and still alive & kickin. I grew up listening to all the old greats like Johnny Cash & George Jones in Dad's car. I know a lady in Florida who actually was great friends with Hank Williams Sr. When I picked my own music & listened to all the Outlaws and the ladies and so much more. I've always said I am BLESSED to have lived on this earth at the same time as Waylon Jennings and to have followed his entire career. Then came Chris Stapleton. He looks young enough to be some guy our daughter would bring home but every time I hear him sing, I CRY because I 1,000 % guarantee you that my Grandchildrens' Grandchildren WILL know who Chris Stapleton was. And I am totally serious.

My great-grandmother is going to be 91 in a few months and I took her to her first ever concert in 89 years and it was Chris Stapleton, now only a week ago Ive taken her to her second ever concert in 90 years and it was ALSO Chris Stapleton!. He is a generational talent and treasure
He nailed it At the Super Bowl that was one of the greatest
This human being is ridiculously: talented, humble, grounded, down-to-earth. At the age of 50, I'm learning so many things in and from any interview he has given, from his body language while on stage! He's a blessing ❤
I ❤ Chris Stapleton and the USA hat!!! 💯
The teddy bear of country music! Man, I love Chris.
I've heard many singers at the Super Bowl. I think Chris is the best anthem yet. I appreciate the concert he put together for the people of eastern Kentucky after that horrible flood. I'm used to the flooding of the Cumberland River, the worst that I can remember in 1977. Bell and Harlan counties were hit hard but no deaths.

Love how Chris can be so wonderful but so humble. He is great! Love the show Bobby!
I love Chris Stapleton!!! He is down to earth, humble & kind!! Plus, he has the best voice out there, in my opinion!!!
He is one of the greatest of our time.. Thanks for bringing Chris Stapleton into the studio. Always a pleasure. Keep them tunes flowing Chris Stapleton. Love y'all.
I could listen to him just talk forever.. He's the most humble guy.. Wow
What an amazing human being and artist.
This man, to me, is one of the best & deepest songwriters I've ever had the pleasure of hearing & his voice & songs touch my soul....most definitely hands down one of the best artist of my generation. Love & adore him ❤️

A very humble man who is rooted in the real world.
They are having a conversation and THATS what makes them amazing! It’s not forced or stilted.. even if you look for the next thing you have to appreciate and enjoy where you’re are now!
This man is o e of the most down to earth artist out there I love his music it would be a honor to meet this man he's just amazing to me lo e you Chris Stapleton
I love his music so much!!!
What I loved most was Chris and Justin in 2015 did Tennessee Whiskey. I was in the kitchen and heard him singing, and WHO is that?I immediately fell in love with his voice. But he and Justin were just ENJOYING and having fun. He has become my #1 favorite country musician. It amazes me that he can collaborate with ANYONE. Agree he is the most humble man, possibly somewhat shy . Just love him 🤗

it really was. Didnt matter if you were a rap or metal person...EVERYONE I know said it brought tears to their eyes.
The best thing I've seen of Chris was stumbling on a You Tube from many yrs ago with him in a group of performers, I think on a cruise ship, where he is singing. He has on no hat, wearing glasses, and it was epic. Long before he "made" it in song writing also.

I have Bobby Bones to thank for me discovering Chris back in 2014. I was just scrolling through YT when I saw a thumbnail of a viking singing Josh Turner's "Your Man." He became my favorite singer just from that one video and he's stayed my favorite singer.

Love Chris Stapleton. IMHO, he’s the best country artist performer, hands down !!! Plus, he’s down to earth, humble and kind!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Totally love Chris Stapleton’s music. His voice, his humble attitude and his honesty.
It never fails to astound how such a talented individual such as Chris Stapleton can also be such a genuinely nice normal person. It makes such a stark contrast to see a musician that’s adored around the world that strives to be a better father and an all round better guy in contrast to some that it just has to be all about themselves and there fragile egos. Long may he continue to be such a beacon of talent
Legend man, no idea how this voice and spirit coming from.
Such a great and humble guy!
His performance of the National Anthem was absolutely EPIC!
Lovvvvvve Chris!!!!! He’s soooooo talented and yet so humble and genuine!!!
Awesome human being!!!
Inspiring and reassuring How Humble and down to earth of a person he seems. I can’t imagine the struggle to stay grounded while seeing others shake my head with egos bigger than Chris’s stage volume! Your work has become a huge part of me and my wife’s 27 years together. MGM on our anniversary front row and will never forget it! Thanks for the Hard Work and Love
Saw Chris in Phoenix with George Strait.. It was awesome... Chris seemed nervous at the start, but he kept looking at his wife when he opened.. few songs in he seem fine... Soulful and authentic
Great job Chris Stapleton!! You made AMERICA PROUD!!
Great interview Bobby! Chris you’re awesome! Everything is well deserved! God Bless!
Best National Anthem ever! Whitney is right up there; but this rendition just made me “feel” it more.

Faith Hill's rendition was awesome too
First time I heard Chris Stapleton sing was on a Bobby Bones segment years ago, Bobby was introducing him and sharing his amazing singing voice. I have been huge fan ever since. After, I was able to see him live in small venues in Georgia, wonderful memories !
I had a heart and kidney transplant this past November. Every April the hospital holds an event to celebrate all the transplants they’ve done over the years. At one point they started a playlist to listen to during an activity and parachute was the first song. I was thinking about my donor and heard that song in a new way. Really touched my heart. Thanks for your music Chris, c you Saturday at the Shoe!
Can’t wait for his next album.
Like Dr Phil always said, The biggest stars I have ever interviewed had the smallest egos. Chris is a prime example of that humility. Dr Phil said Stevie Wonder & his wife walk in the back door bringing us all boxes of donuts. Some of these new "stars" walk in with an entourage of 30 and a long list of every thing they'll be needing in their dressing room. Those people don't last long. We gotta remember that Chris is SO YOUNG to already be A Legend!! It didn't take him 40 yrs of drugs, arrests, whiskey & women to gain his "soul". Chris was BORN a Wise Old Soul.
Dude knocked it out of the park. It came from faith.
So proud to be from the same home and culture as Chris! He’s a true example of an artist to follow
Love Chris Stapleton literally bringing back country, songwriting and being an awesome entertainer ❤️ going to my third show in one year

What a legend
He’s so cool
Speaking of the Super Bowls national anthem, You did a phenomenal heartfelt, rendition that made many cry to be honest. There is no shame for a man or woman to cry when they feel so proud to be an American, where freedom is treasured and honored. We especially needed that, I believe, at a time when the WORLD is getting so close to a crazy threat of mass destruction from a nuclear war. Thank you for signing your heart out for us and making us remember that WE THE PEOPLE are AMERICANS! I have watched that SUPER BOWL performance many times and I have not watched it without tearing up. I hope we see you and hear you at every SUPER BOWL AS A AMERICAN TRADITION!! Love You Man!!
He’s so humble and genuine. Class act!
I would LOVE that documentary!
3 minutes in and this is the best Chris Stapleton interview I’ve ever heard. Nice work
What a wonderful interview! ❤
My parents attended that same Eagles concert in Charleston WV, and it just made my moms day to find out you were there Chris! How cool!! ❤
Love how Bobby interviews folks ❤
When he asked Chris if he still enjoyed the two hours on stage I was reminded of a friend of mine who is a touring musician. He always says that the show is the fun part. The other 22 hours of the day, the travel, the time away from home and family, the bullshit of the music business, that’s the job. Makes sense to me. I met Chris right before he blew up into a megastar. I’m glad to see he hasn’t seemed to change much. I hope the public lets him stay that way
I was lucky enough to meet him a few years ago. Hands down the nicest most humble person in the world.
Love this a listening to him , just talk , or SING . He is so creative, if you listen , you can hear a few phrases , that could be a new song . Love him , his music , his creative mind, and of course his voice .
I’m having a problem believing he was nervous he made grown men cry I want to hear him do the super bowl
I can not believe for one minute he was nervous at the super bowl. His performance there was generational. What an artist.
It's funny, if there was any show I could relive it would be Chris' show 2016 Festival pier philadelphia. My 18th birthday, and my first beer, with my dad and about 1000 people at the place. He played my favorite song of all time, sometimes i cry, as an encore. Im so happy to see he is finally getting this level of recognition, and he deserves every ounce of it
So looking forward to a new record from Chris. I’m predicting September cause he has a gap in his touring schedule, maybe he’ll be promoting his new record 🎉Not American but loved his National Anthem
Even Vince Gill said you have to keep yourself fresh because... “Even Elvis is no longer on radio rotation!” balance is very important. Love the relaxed interview!
Chris you are my idol. I’m 43 and have played drums, strummed guitar and been a lead man in various local bar bands over the years. You are so freaking humble for someone with your skill set. At my old age I aspire to be like you when I grow up.
Awhhh Chris, I am soooo proud of you!! You sure have worked so hard. It has been a blessing watching you grow. Can not wait to see you in concert again. Would love to get to chat. ~ Sherry Fairchild Eagles 1993
"the sun is shinning, let's make some hay"... wow how humble and down to earth.
What an honorable, funny, modest, down to earth man!! I'm so happy I found Chris not being a "country" music fan! The most talented musician I've ever heard
Come to the UK Chris
Good honest conversation. Loved these questions. Great interview
One of the best singers of all time
Chris is the reason I am a huge Country Music fan....
I Iove that Chris, took the time to do this
Best in market. So deep thinking about balance. Priorities! Amen

Chris Stapleton is our modern day country Elvis! He can sing the phone book and win awards!!
I wish I could meet Chris. Bring my Grandson.. 💗
CS is the greatest vocalist the country scene has ever ever seen. PROVE. ME. WRONG.
Didn’t sound nervous at all. Was the best national anthem performance I’ve ever heard.

What he says about Joy Of My Life is so spot on
As beautiful a human being as he is a musician.....

I find your analysis so fascinating and for me, novel. You are a real treat!
Love for sharing ❤❤❤
Chris Stapleton could sing a song about dirt and still make it the best damn song you ever heard❤❤❤❤
Chris Does Not like interviews!!! He’s just a good old country boy!!! He wants to just be left alone!!!!❤
He’s a national treasure….. somebody please start playing his bluegrass stuff, or the Jompson Brothers!
In addition to being one of the greatest vocalists of all time, Chris should record audio books. Love his speaking voice.
but you ask good questions and are great in engageing. . thanks
I’ve watched his performance of the National Anthem more times than the ‘half time’ show - and I’m an Aussie. I have no interest in your national athem ( sorry 😬) but this man absolutely perfected that and it just gives me goosebumps every time I hear it and watch it. Un freakin believable. ❤
See you in Bangor, Maine in July, Chris!
BB got off on talking about himself again. Shesh. Chris is so intelligent and interesting he could have gotten so much more out of him.
I would love to know what the types of places are that Chris can go without getting recognized...are those places more like Brentwood, CA? or Jackson, MS?
Looking good Chris Stapleton how are you doing from Betty Vaughn
