That’s his wife doing background and he talks about that guitar being his main tool. Did a GQ article about it.
That worn guitar - I believe that's the one he said he bought used, didn't know it's history, that he didn't do all the damage to it & the neck is a replacement. "I think it was used as a canoe paddle at some point because there's mud in it & stuff." At that time it was the one he picked up the most. "It's like wearing your favorite shirt."
