Chris's first run after an Afib ablation

Hello, my name is Chris Smart. Two and a half years ago, I received a diagnosis that would change my life: Atrial Fibrillation. However, this marks my first run after undergoing a cardio ablation at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
With my heart racing, fueled by both the anticipation of potentially slipping back into Afib and the sheer joy of running once again, I find myself becoming increasingly excited about the prospect of living a life unburdened by this condition.
Should curiosity beckon and questions arise, I'm more than happy to share further chapters from my journey back to running. I am ready to document this path back into the world of running after dealing with Afib.

Important process that needs documenting! Hopefully a speedy recovery leading to an even speedier 5K and London marathon!!

I’m really struggling to run since my diagnosis I used to run half marathons now I’m lucky to even run a 5k. I found out I had AFib last jan and have been struggling, somtimes I can run fine no problems other times like yesterday I struggled so much went dizzy the lot 😢

Any problems since the Ablation? , i’ve had 1 episode on Mar 30th 2 months ago , have had just a couple of episodes SVT and NSVT since , and get about 10-20 PACs per day and about 1-2 PVCs , early days for me (i uses a frontierx2 HRM which can do a continuos ECG for its battery life of 24 hours which is great for recording these episodes) , no clear diagnosis yet , like you am a keen endurance athlete 10-15 hours of cycling a week , no real issues since the afib episode apart from the stated arrhythmia’s , in fact my fitness has got slightly better
