I met Chris Roberts once. My friend took me to his house. They were filming The Nine Club there. I sat in the living room and watched them do their thing. This was in the very beginning. Back in 2017... I remember thinking it would take off the way that it has. He’s a really nice guy and I think the chemistry of that crew is exactly what is needed for a skateboarding podcast. It’s been cool watching the show prevail. I always loved his style.

@@thebatonmaster I still skate Santa Monica courthouse and the manny pad is so damn high. The ledge is crazy too because it's high and that round type ledge.

Chris Roberts is such an underrated skater. I skated with him a couple of times when i was like 11. He was always at the west la courthouse. Nice guy actually.

It's amazing how little he's changed. He was born to be a skater, and he acts like he sucks and half asses anything outside of his clips but he's a great at it. He was part of the team that carried skating through its sophomore phase, too. You da bess, Crob!

I wrote hot chocolate on my chocolate board and got made fun of at the skatepark. This video and part are so monumental for my gen. It was the start of the evolution to big tech stuff and style. Chris is the man and totally not a robot

i remember seeing roberts when i was a kid on captain and casey show, always thought the white shoes, all the manual tricks and his arm movements were so sick

the way c rob switch manuals just looks so sick. it looks like hes trying hard to keep his balance and like its not so easy but he does it with a lot of steez

the switch manual 360 shove out was just butter, and the manual shove it manuals are always nice to watch.
