Chris Reeve Sebenza - Overview and Comparison (Large to Small)
Chris Reeve and his team have been making top notch knives for years. I just recently purchased my first Sebenza - the large Damascus in this video - followed quickly by a small Sebenza. Watch out. They are addicting. Fit and finish are top notch. A beautiful collection piece or EDC.
I incorrectly state that these knives are S30V in this clip - which they are not. They are made with S35vn.

Yep. You can always pay more but really don't get much better than a sebenza. Great video.
in the realm of production knives the sebenza is unsurpassed IMHO; however I have owned and do own many customs that far surpass the sebenza in tolerances, fit and finish, functionality and overall looks. there's many makers out there that are producing truly incredible work! Peter rassinti just to name one is a master knife maker!

+quicktoevil you got that. I love the sebenza, but I also love a lot of quality custom makers. check out the Nirvana by rassenti, if Chris reeve made a custom sebenza I believe it would be it!
I love BladeHQ and do a ton of business with them. I do wish the stock photos of their knives was of a better quality though. The photos on their website rarely do these incredible knives any justice. Anybody else ever notice this?
If you think there is nothing better you haven't seen Rockstead knives.
Looks too pretty to use because of the damascus!
Just bought one from Plaza Cutlery. Has not been a good example. Not centered and the finish on the screws was poor. Very disappointed.
No it is not worth it ! If you like it fine and if you think it's the best well thats your opionion ! But suckbenzas are an ok knife but compared to a recon1 they are $5.00 gas station knives ! Liner locks are dangerous and should only be on small knives !
