Easy to follow and thorough step by step tutorials do it yourself (DIY) to help you with your broken lawn and garden equipment including snowblowers.
I do my best to teach you how to easily diagnose problems the fastest, quickest and most efficient way with real repairs beyond just replacing a spark plug. These tips are for both the homeowner and shop owner.
Whether it be a handheld, two stroke, two cycle engine like a chainsaw, weed eater, weed wacker, string trimmer, grass trimmer, line trimmer, hedge trimmer, strimmer, brush cutter, leaf blower, or four stroke, four cycle units like a lawnmower, wood splitter, lawn tractor, snowblower, pressure washer, generator or a ride on mower that needs parts installed or replaced, I’m your go-to guy.
My favorite brands of spark plugs are NGK and Champion and are the ones I recommend.
I’ve been a small engine mechanic for many decades and also run my own repair shop so my videos are loaded with tips and tricks that I have learned and want to share with you. You will also find many tool and product reviews from top brands on my channel as well.

    Thank you Don and Chris for the info on the new Walbro diaphragm and purge bulb. I saw them on Steve's Small Engine Saloon awhile back and also on Walbro's You Tube channel. They are truly going positively change things in the industry. And Don you need to get all the You Tube greats on small engines together for a beer and have a round table on tips and tricks for everyone and share some laughs together.

    Thanks Don for hosting the Walbro rep. As a hobby level tinkerer/small engine mechanic, it's feels nice to be warmly introduced to a company that seems like they really are working for the consumer, making superior parts that are more durable & trouble free. They want to invite the low volume parts buyer as well as the professionals, & I appreciate that. Now, I am more likely to seek out Walbro parts at the 3 parts dealers, maybe even adapt a Walbro carburetor or new type primer bulb to non Walbro equipment. Thanks Walbro for finding new ways to connect to the consumer, like Don's informative show & Steve's small engine saloon. Us consumers are watching & learning & I have an even higher positive opinion about Walbro. Cheers!

    I’m hopeful this is a change for the better. For far too long companies have been chasing after their customers dollars at the cost of the customers time. Longevity and quality should be the standard. Small engines, appliances, furniture and electronics have polluted our planet and filled our landfills for far too long. Shame on husqvarna’s 235. They made it so the whole saw needs disassembly just to get at the carb. That was no accident and the result will be a planet filled with engineered junk and a lack of resources. That is all. Thanks for sharing Dony👍

  • @rpavlik1
    @rpavlik13 жыл бұрын

    I thought those new bits were pretty cool when Steve showed them off. I actually just showed my father in law that spiral diaphragm this past weekend, he has a number of chainsaws he uses basically as a retirement profession, he thought they were pretty cool too. Though apparently he uses his stuff so much (and avoids ethanol) that he hasn't had to replace his carb kits in quite a while... Meanwhile I practically have to replace some primer bulbs yearly. I should have gone and gotten one of those purge bulbs for a Ryobi expand-it power head I was fixing recently. Didn't even think of it since it came with a Zama, but that looks like it would have fit. Might replace it with one next time it cracks instead of using the rest of the 5 pack of cheapies from Amazon. Most of my regular use stuff (tbh my Echo trimmer mostly) has Zama carbs, but I'll definitely do this upgrade on my Walbro powered stuff.

    Sadly, I don’t see a future for Walbro or Zama. They are overpriced! Chinese carbs are under $10 and fully adjustable, and gas will be banned soon in California. Electric needs no adjustments.

    I believe there will always be a market for walbro and Zara carbs you only get what you pay for Chinese carb springs are weak and go outa tune very easy.Electric chainsaws won’t cut 20” logs for very long .Just my 2 cents worth 😀

    California will burn like a Roman candle because electric stuff is not big enough to do acres of clean up. And the batteries catch on fire too. Have they gone completely mad over there?

    @@toddgreenwell9568 correct weight on all comments. Battery powered is okay for 3 square meters of grass. God help you on half acre of hedge, trees, fence lines etc. I'd have to put a petrol generator in the truck to do it all with battery powered stuff, and the additional expense of having more than one battery per machine. They're got rocks in their head. Wretched greenies!
