I think the whole set up for Courtney was the pitch from the Smosh team to Chris' management/PR from the start, because they know it is a wholesome fan interaction moment that may Chris Pratt fan's are going to project themselves into and live vicariously. This is a great promo opportunity plus it makes one person in particular (and many more by proxy) really happy.

I know this is 5 yrs old but I had to say this. I was going through a patch of depression and was just feeling like crap. As soon as Chris Pratt on and both Olivia and Courtney both start fan-girling out I was laughing. Watching Ian embarrassing the crap out of them, especially Courtney, I had tears streaming down my face because I was laughing so hard. Sorry Courtney that your emotional damage cheered me up, but it did.

Doing screen shots of the MANY MANY MANY faces of oolshock, excitement, realization, wondering if she’s dreaming, realizing she has lost the ability to be naturally funny as apprised to trying, which would require thought which is now impossible because of trying think of all the embarrassing she did/said about her ultimate dream man.

I had to immediately re-watch this. Courtney short-circuiting the moment she saw Chris and constantly apologizing to him the whole video, had me dying😅. And Chris just so chill and sweet , trying to make Courtney comfortable and going back for more slow dancing at the end was so damn wholesome. Loved this!!

After Chris was introduced, Courtney gives a look of utter terror. You can tell she knows that she's going to be embarrassed horribly in the next few minutes of her life.
