    Perry was one of the greatest riders in NCAA history. Most fans hated him for it!

    Such a dumb thing to say…. in your day-no body had KZread. Therefore, your chances of succeeding in wrestling was the same as everyone you competed against. Same for us. Such a terrible excuse for your lack of success

    "The first 30 seconds, everyone is a stud!" This is such a key insight into being a good rider. Once you break him, you can ride anyone.

    This position is very common in jiu jitsu and is referred to as the "back mount." It was very interesting to hear how this wrestler approaches the position. My son is now wrestling in high school and I am trying to tell him to use the hooks--get the back mount, get your hooks in and start looking for the half.

    @@jarettesuikowsky6742 wrestling is grappling and jiu jitsu is grappling-different rules is what makes them different. They can borrow techniques from one another.

    He mentioned he didn't like a single leg or cross body. It is because he has short legs and tried riding it the same as double. You have to sink it deeper to hook the shin with your toe and turn the knee out, if you plant it on the mat it picks the opponents knee off the mat and I am working pretty much square like he was with both legs in
