Wow. Unimaginable pain. I just saw Chris in an interview. I guess the pain is just too deep this is why his second marriage fell apart. He was never home, boozing and partying the ex-wife Vanessa said. She didn't really want the divorce but Chris had given up on the marriage, didn't want to fight for it. Poor guy crashed and went back into total depression. Something had to trigger it. I feel bad for him. I see he's is trying to finally make peace with Selena's passing. He is starting to open up to the fans about his feelings and the life He had with her. I'm glad he has his music and kids. This keeps Chris going and also he is close with Selena's family. I'm hoping that the book he wrote 'To Selena With Love' will become a tv miniseries. Abraham had put a stop to it by suing Chris. But guess whose in talks with Disney trying to get a series going? Yep, u guessed it. The Author who wrote the book ' Selena Secret which is based on that murderer's lies. Unbelievable. Well Abraham, think its high time for that family's meeting now asap.

Jay Smith; I had heard that the Author who wrote the book, 'Selena's Secret' was trying to pass it off to Disney as a series. Hoping its not true. Also I don't think we will be seeing a tv miniseries from Chris's book anytime soon bc its still being held up in litigation by Selena's father Abraham, and from what I hear Abraham has the upper hand bc of that stupid contract Chris had signed shortly after Selena's death where he signed over his part of her legacy over to the father in which Chris regrets to this day. To tell u the truth I wish they would settle their differences and move on movie or no movie at least for Selena's sake bc she loved both of them. Besides A.B. these were the two most important men in Selena's life. She definitely would not want them butting heads like this over her legacy. Abraham is a control freak yet at the same time he feel protective of his baby girl's legacy. I certainly understand that part. Anyways here's hoping. Keep our fingers crossed.

Poor Chris. He can't do anything without the public constantly reminding him of Selena. I'm sure she wants him to move on. I used to follow him on fb, and he would post about his day or his kids, and someone always had to bring up Selena. Let Chris get on with his life people! I hope he finds someone that will make him happy.

I agree to an extent my friend but , being that Selena is his first true love , will always be his last. Moreover an old saying from the secret rose garden book by Saadi- " love between man and woman is a shadowed picture of the love between the soul and God, and who the lover yearns for the beloved's face. at first your comment kinda pissed me off but in a way you are right. i know its got to be tough moving forward without the love of your life. im sure every time someone mentions selena that wound is ripped open again. but like someone has already said he WILL be reminded of her every single day for the rest of his life even if noone spoke of her.and im sure he knows that selena loved him so much that she would want him to move forward and be happy but knowing and doing are 2 totally different things! i feel for that man..i really TRULY do! :(

Yes, you can really feel Chris’ feeling and emotion in that book! Where the reader is being brought back to those moments...I’m still halfway through!

The 1st Time I saw selena sing was in Angleton Texas.She was about 15 yrs.old shes Beautiful Selena. She had a blue jump suit with silver sparkling belt and little Boots to match.I think it was in 1983.She grew here in Lake Jackson. CALADIUM ST. I live in Gardenia st.next to caladium.

That's is so true. I lost my fiance, and i felt like he took my heart with him. I had other relationship even had a daughter whom i love more than my life. But honestly the relationship i had i did not love him the way i loved my fiance and no one can replace him.

I lost my first husband such pain I thought I could not escape but with the love of my Jesus my Lord on my knees crying out he not only took the pain he gave me a whole brand new life and then some so I pray for restoration to Chris Perez and many many many blessings on the loss that he took him and Selena were precious from what I could see I could see genuine love there so I just pray for chapter after chapter of nothing but blessings and thank God that life doesn’t end here and that we will see our loved ones again it’s life is a vapor the Bible says and it fades away and it’s so true
