Great tune from Chris. Western Underground was such a tight band too. Glad we had you as long as we did, Ol Boy. Also, I always loved that Guild guitar he played. Class all the way round. Ned, Keep up the good work Son.

I'm not able to pick a favorite song of his, but this one is certainly on the Mount Rushmore.

Don’t think I could narrow my favorite Chris Ledoux songs to anywhere close to 4 even. Great artist (I originally said country artist, but I believe Chris’ music can’t be defined by a “country” label; it’s bigger and broader than that) and cowboy. I don’t think I even knew about him until after he was gone. My loss big time!

Only if he was still around today. Ned sure sounds like him though!

Chris Ledoux was an American Western Rock Star. More honest than Garth and a better showman than Angus Young. Shit you can feel the emotion in the song. There was some magic with Chris LeDoux and The Western Underground. This is just a song about a way of life and love that is gone now in us. It is a song about a man that gives everything he cherishes for the woman he loves. I am sure someone would find the song sexist now. But I am a man and not faint of heart but this song makes my eyes misty. Not cry but allergies right? I have lived this song throughout my life a few times.
