One of my all time favorite songs of Chris Ledoux's. Reminds me of my old cowboy neighbor when I was a kid that taught me how to ride.

10 seconds in the saddle sure does beat a lifetime in the stands. As I'm now on the down hill slope after a lifetime in the saddle I can relate Chris. Miss ya Mate. Steve M.

While I barely rode a horse in my life, I get it and lived life to the fullest. This needs to be played at my funeral.

This song was written especially for Chris by Terry Smith. Terry talks about playing this song for Chris and his Dad Al while they were sitting on a picnic table in Mt. Juliet, TN where Al was living at the time.

I'd say it's a good way to look at life. A couple of horses I've had have been pretty tough. They helped me see things differently and step up.

Barebackbronc riding not to be confused with the real broncriding wich is saddlebronc riding the true cowboy sport and measure of a real cowboy

@@jeffreyhershey5754 You're confused. Bareback bron ridibg is definitely harder than saddlebronc. You have nothing to hang onto but the rope. Having no saddle is tough. They're both real.
