Flair I'm gonna woo for 30 years. Austin I'm gonna crack the glass for 30 years. Jericho I'm gonna make you remember something new every few years. If he ever retired the lad has a catalogue of greatest hits. I never even watched WCW but played the 64 games and this dude was an instant legend to me and my buddies on his debut. People bring up the rock killing it nowadays but literally none of us thought that watching it at the time.

Yes indeed
Jericho's heel run in 2008-2010 was easily the best version of Jericho we've ever had. As a kid during that time period, I hated him lol but that's what made him a powerhouse heel. He was definitely the best in the world at that time not just on the mic but in the ring. By far the best heel during that time. Dude put on 5 star matches with HBK, Cena and anyone he would get in the ring with. He even had a stellar match with Santino during that time. His ability to always evolve his gimmick and stay relevant is what makes Jericho one of the all time greats.

I like listening to Chris, but I also like listening to Chris. Overall, I think I prefer listening to Chris.
This man is a legend. Every Chris Jericho interview always hits me cause he really means what he says.
Every wrestling fan owes workers like Jericho a thank you for keeping this circus going for as long as it has not to mention his ability to evolve and adapt is admirable and amazing.
I just have to say Chris Jericho has been my favorite wrestler since 96. So happy to see him in the place he's in today. It's wonderful that others see Jericho how I've seen him all this time.
One of the goats imo... Was always a jerichoholic
Jericho is ABSOLUTELY a living legend in the business. And of of the true GOATs. When it comes to the TOTAL PACKAGE of these attributes at an elite level, he's EASILY among the top 5-6 of all time: Mic Skills Main event IT factor/charisma Babyface Heel Technical Skills Aerial ability I gotta give Macho Man MAJOR CRED for putting this package on the map in the WWF back in the day. HBK, Jericho, Eddie, Angle, Edge, Punk, Danielson, Rollins, etc. came down the pike and were TOTAL PACKAGES of this blueprint as well. They put their own stamp on it. When you think about it, NOT MANY GUYS had this type of blend at an elite level. And NOBODY can f*** with Jericho when it comes to reinventing his persona. And Jericho had the GOAT NIGHT in pro wrestling history in my opinion in terms of actual achievement! Beat Rock and Austin in the same night. Won the WWF and World (WCW) titles in the same night. We never thought we would see somebody holding those two titles at the same time. And Jericho was the first to do it. Around this time, WWE accumulated the greatest roster of all time! So NO WAY Vince puts Jericho in that position IF he wasn't one of the best. Guys who have the attributes I laid out earlier IN SPADES get to the world titles and main events in WWE! Perfect complement to the main event box office brawler legends like Hogan, Austin, Rock, Taker, Cena, Brock, etc. Brawling was those guys bread and butter while on top. The guys like Jericho gave you the VERSATILITY you need in the main event scene of a worldwide wrestling company.
Jericho rocking the Milli Vanilli tee. Love it! Dude is one of the greatest! Lionheart!
if u don't have any or more respect for jericho after this then idk what to tell u lol dude is a living legend and has been for over a decade now and is so pure with his love of wrestling and knowledge
Chris Jerico on mic vs Triple H was Legendary
Jerichoholic for LIFE! From when I was a child watching my first episode of RAW with my dad, to adulthood where I still keep an eye on his career in AEW
The best thing about Jericho, even when he was a mid card guy, he never felt like a mid card guy. Take it back to the year 2000 with the rivalries with the likes of Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle. Jericho being the talker and Benoit and Angle without a doubt the best wrestlers in the company balanced things out. 2003-2005. With Triple H on the top of Raw, Jericho was the heater heel for guys like RVD, Booker T, Kane, Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, but his feuds still felt important and one notch away from taking Triple H's spot. Even his rivalry with Christian, a true undercard but also underappreciated talent, his WrestleMania XX match definitely wasn't what he deserved, but you knew he'd be World Champion in the future.
First time I saw Jericho live was 1998 in Baltimore at the Great American Bash. He wrestled Dean Malenko. Amazing match! Look it up!
Chris Jericho is by far the greatest of our generation. Reinvented himself countless times. Been in every major promotion, excellent on the mic and in the ring
I'm a life long fan of Jericho. He definitely helped AEW get off of the ground. IMO there were a lot of people who were looking for an alternative to Vince McMahon. AEW was that alternative. Unfortunately AEW has run into a problem. Vince is no longer part of the WWE. Now that Vince is gone the landscape has changed. Also, the situation with Punk split the fan base. I really hope that AEW can get back on track. The WWE is better with competition.

Chris Jericho is the living definition of what a Rockstar is. I love the guy and is sad and true that people will only 100% recognize and start giving him his flowers after he's gone.
How could anyone hate this guy?? I've ALWAYS been a Jerichoholic, will always be the GOAT. Most accomplished of all time in my opinion.

Chris Jericho has been in wrestling for as long as I have been alive. Its really crazy. And I have been a fan of his since I first got into wrestling in the late 90s/early 2000s. I would say he is easily one of the greatest of all time given his resume. He really is one of the only few wrestlers to wrestle almost everywhere.
“Take that first step off the skyscraper and you realize you can fly.” That was great! Awesome interview as usual!

Honestly, CVV and Sean Evans are the best interviewers today. Rarified air breathed in these conversations.
Only Chris Jericho would have the testicular fortitude to rock a Milli Vanilli t-shirt.
I know he said he doesn’t care about the hall of fame events but he does deserve to be in it
Followed Jericho's whole career and in my opinion his best work was the early years of his WWE career, his matches with Benoit, Guerrero, Angle in that upper midcard role was peak Y2J and very entertaining on the mic, all the respect for having a career thats still going strong 20 years later

Chris you keep killing it with these guests salute man the best wrestling podcast in my opinion ill be watching every second of this much love
I love hearing Chris Jericho speak man. His knowledge of the business is so amazing. He’s a living wrestling legend already 🙏
If Chris doesn’t mention being at WM18 it’s just not the same. I love how that’s a staple of the show. Another great interview, Jericho is always fun to listen to.
As a business owner that took a leap at 35 years old, who’s now about to be 40 and a millionaire. Hes 1000% spot on, you have to take a chance. But then you have to have a plan and go all in. It’s so much sacrifice, so much hard work and so much of just grinding daily. But the reward is incredible. I hope everyone gets to experience it and takes their leap.
chris jericho is so good, he's putting over milli vanilli during an interview

Chris Jericho in my opinion is the greatest wrestler of all time he has done it all in huge horror fan and for me it was so cool to see him in Terrifier 2
45:26 it’s very interesting Jericho said that because it just so happened Chris vs Punk was at Mania 28 with the WWE title on the line and there were two block buster matches HHH vs Taker in HIAC and Cena vs Rock and Jericho obviously didn’t want to repeat that same mistake again like at Mania 18
Bro, I just realized Chris has this huge lit screen for his show good lord you made it CVV!!
Jericho really doesn't get the recognition and respect he deserves. He's always been a great worker, wrestler, and human-being. He is always putting the business first and I really hope he continues working with AEW throughout the remainder of his career because I really feel they needs someone like Jericho to help guide them in the right directions.
Wow this interview flew by so fast! Even after countless interviews, I still love hearing Jericho tell wrestling stories and give his insights on the business. He is rightfully one of the all time greats!
I have to admit that this interview with Chris Jericho made me respect Chris Jericho much more. I also think that he has more business savvy than most young people. "Make the ice cream." Looking back, ,,,You are brilliant; Plus, you got to work with the greats. ...and go out on your own time and put smiles on troubled kids. Bravo Mr. Jericho, BRAVO ON YOU!! I RESPECT YOU SIR.

Jericho working for that WWE HOF run already. Brother is one hell of a worker. Good interview as always Chris.
Jericho and legacy sound like a big thing for him. So I hope Jericho keep working AEW. I love his work. I would love to see him keep doing it. He also very good as an manager, commentator and I hope he becomes a HALL OF FAMER in all of Pro Wrestling
I loved the Ocho run. Nice Interview like always CCV
I have been watching and following Chris Jericho since the 90's. He is my all time favorite wrestler. I was looking forward to this soooooo much and it totally exceeded my expectations! I could listen to Chris Jericho talk for hours! And CVV it's sooooo awesome seeing you two talk to each other. Seeing my favorite wrestler interviewed by my favorite conversationalist. Thank you Chris! Great interview of the GOAT, my time favorite wrestler!
“Both of us were good……really good” Hope Jericho and HHH hang out like this one day on jerichos pod
Really cool to hear Jericho talk about helping the younger guys and making it a priority from the start. Especially because he didn’t have that. When he was coming in her had to deal with the top stars worrying about themselves with the whole nwo storyline. So good for him for giving the young guys a shot that he never had.

Thanks for the interview. Chris is the mix for best ever.
I liked him in the cruiser weight division in WCW. Made the mid card levels relevant. His evolution from then to now is astonishing. 🤘🏻
Loved Y2J in WcW. Still remember his first day on Raw and how awesome it was. He's one of the best in ring and out.
Got the first thumbs up in for this show! Love hearing Chris Jericho tell stories.
Any wrestler of any era at the age Chris Jericho is now was retired or only doing pokemon moves like hogan or Flair, younger wrestlers like edge, Christian, Matt and Jeff hardy, Punk etc you see their best days in the ring are long gone but Jericho is still able to have matches at a very good level like the match against Ospreay, He's the real GOAT
I remember seeing jerichos face on the cruise and you knew he had a moment of realization of, just being proud 👏🏼 and felt the crowd sing. You could see it on his face.
Chris, thank you so much for this. I really appreciate this interview. Most for that last question. I loved it. I’ve left it more inspired to achieve my dreams🙏🏾 (I wasn’t specific as to which Chris intentionally. It goes out to both of you🙏🏾)
KO v Jericho was a main event feud. It just didn't main event WM... It literally was the top story of Raw for months and although I don't think it should of closed out the show ( also wouldn't be angry if it did. KO is my guy and Jericho has been one of my favorite since 01 really elevated himself in 07 08 ) but it definitely should of been for the championship. Goldberg v Brock didn't need it. That being said KO was coming off being champion, both dominated the A story on Raw and really WWE for months and months. The festival of friendship was a top 25 Raw moment and top 10 if not 5 turns. Everyone saw it coming and it was still amazing....
Jericho is actually one of the legit badasses I've heard many of the other guys that he actually is a badass can fight for real so ya he's being a cool dude and modest
Chris Jericho’s 2005 Backlash match with Shelton Benjamin was the first wrestling match I ever watched
Great interview as always. I wish Jericho could say something about the list of Jericho and his rivalry with The Rock. Those acts were a masterpiece.
