Chris Heria VS. CONTORTIONIST
Ойын-сауық
Chris Heria attempts contortion for the very first time! As someone who's never been particularly flexible, he decided to challenge himself and see just how bendy he could get. Learning the basics of contortion, from stretches and warm-ups to trying out some actual contortion poses. Will he be able to pull off any impressive moves, or will his lack of flexibility get the best of him?

I been doing calisthenics for 3 years, I don't have a gym membership or a pull bar. But I use your heria app and your KZread videos of home workout to hit a good workout. And I have managed to learn handstands and do 5 free standing handstand push-ups. So I am now focusing on being consistent. Thanks you for your content.

I would LOVE to see some more stretching and flexibility videos that was so interesting! Also her body shows that you don't always have to look strong to actually be strong! The lady is an absolute legend I loved her ❤
It's so beautiful to see how gentle Chris becomes around her.
Chris is gonnna end up being the most complete athlete ever with every skill possible 😂, keep learning bro
Sometimes it's incredibly easy to forget how important flexibility training is, as well as how crucial it is to stretch to avoid injury. Thanks for the video!

Chris what I love the most about you is you have ZERO self-pity, dread or doubt. It is what inspires me the most.
Chris, your community is so wholesome... Look at these comments... That's so amazing. You're a role model. I don't do calisthenics myself, but I still watch your stuff and appreciate your personality and humbleness.
Watching Chris face while trying to do this exercises is just too funny lol But I also got inspired by her when she went from bridge to handstand back and forth so easy. Gotta stretch more from now on
Great content, loving that Chris is getting out of his confort zone, and bringing new ways of working out!
Yesss I’ve always wondered how flexible you are and how your calisthenics expertise would translate into that. Definitely keep up the stretching and show us more contortion!
I used to watch your videos a lot around 2017 - 2018 and am just coming back. I have started my calisthenics journey a few months ago. Your videos are so inspirational and make me want to progress more and more every day! Thank you for helping everyone by posting these videos it kind of makes you realize your goal is attainable. Anyway, thanks!

Chris have to do a series of this, is good for learning and fun to watch.
This was the most entertaining Chris’s blog🤣🤣 I remember when I was in gymnastics I hated this type of warm ups especially back bridge
This was just so damn interesting to watch! Seeing how they progress their stretching and flexibility, they really do incorporate the same elements of progressive overload we see in weightlifting and Calisthenics! Please do a part 2 with her. She was an amazing instructor and I would love to see how this can play in traditional strength training. I've done yoga and this seems like the next evolution to that!
i would love a series with her! one thing, next time can you ask her insight about pelvis movement and position during those exercises? since it is fundamental to do not break yourself! manythanks
This is interesting a lot of these moves & warm ups I already do through intuitive yoga but I had no idea this was also considered contortion training, your body feels so good when you do this regularly, for me it’s like an instant stress relief in my body & a way to let my inner child guide me. It’s funny seeing you do this lol I’m excited to see what’s next 🎉
This is such a humbling video. It just makes you appreciate that there's many different kinds of strength. Contortionists have wonderful abilities with their bodies, it's so graceful. Huge respect to them. Keep it going Chris 😉🙂
I've been looking for some good ways to get into contortionism and this is a great resource to get started from. I appreciate it Chris!
It was so so good! Thanks both of you!!
thank u for this video!! i've been doing contortion for 6 years by myself and is hard to find some contorsion videos of how to train propertly, it would be amazing tto watch this kind of videos a little more often or to share your progresion and how you do it.
i love the different videos youre always doing keep it up!
Wow this video gives HUGE information on some super simple stretches and which part of the body they target. I'm definitely going to start trying some of these stretches to see where my flexibility is at and where i need to improve the most. I know for sure i need to improve my hip flexiblity and shoulder. Huge thanks for posting this video and letting us know this invaluble information 🙏 Definitely going to improve myself athletically and as a personal trainer

Chris you are the man bro! Much of Respect from Turkey! Keep it up with your excellent videos
Wow!!! I’ve just discovered your channel. This video was so interesting to learn about contortionist and it’s made me realise how much I need to begin working on my flexibilty. I have just got back into training and a healthy high protein diet with the goal to reduce my body fat, build muscle and strenght my body. Burning off all this fat that is killing my internal organs. I have watched two of your videos today after training, each one has inspired me to stick to my goals. Great Channel, I will be watching from now on. I can’t wait to see how you progress on your contortionist journey. Also s/o to the camera man I really appreciate good angles and shots.
id love to see more contortion training!!! its so cool! an there isn't enough quality training videos available for those of us who are interested.
Amazing first steps. Keep going and show us ur progress as u go 🙏🏼 good luck
i feel like your now going into the same path as Daniel from FitnessFAQs training all those aspects from the body, its great to see you exploring other types of training
I'm still waiting for videos of daily exercises and tutorials from you, Chris. You are my motivation ❤🔥🔥

Hey Chris thanks for all your exercise routine it have gained me some gained and has increase confidence level 👍
Go for it brother 🙌🙌 Love the challenge
What I find most impressive in this vid is the fact that Chris didn't fart once 😂😂 but for real this was great to watch as I'm continuously looking to incorporate new techniques into what I'm doing. I used to be super flexible when I was younger and was again flexible as a teen, so now applying this stuff will definitely be great!
