What makes Chris Hemsworth so perfect as Thor is his seamless ability to go back and forth between being very funny and heartbreaking, which was especially the case in the Kenneth Branagh movie and Endgame.

@@RyanFloom it’s not even about him being funny; the first two films were poorly written and weak. he wasn’t even the star of his own series, we all loved Loki lol. he could’ve maintained the same personality if the storylines were better and the supporting characters were better developed.

He is one and only thor.can't imagine someone else as thor.

@@antona.1327 Yes he's not comic book Thor. MCU Thor has lost his whole family, his world and his hammer in less than a dozen years. Plus, most of his time has been spent amongst earthlings, so yeah, he's going to change more as time goes on. Losses like that change you and, you sometime desperately cling to anything that can resemble normal.

Yeah, I went in to the movir blind and loved it. One of his best roles imo

He’s a phenomenal actor and has such a range. The reason Thor is so many peoples favorites is how genuine and himbo-ish he is but he’s also brilliant

@@danielwillis458 you do realize he is active everyday and those " short time" for roles is still 6 months to a year. Adding 5-10 in a year isn't hard for actors that have help 24/7. If you weight a healthy 200 ibs Adding 5-15 pounds of pure muscle will make you look massive. Not everyone is on steroids.

I wanted to hear about this one too!! Being a villain like that must’ve been so fun!

To think that Tom Hiddleston tried out as Thor made me chuckle. I think that Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston were nobodies when the MCU was looking for Loki and Thor and they hired the two most perfect men. I find them both extremely attractive and they are both amazing at what they do! The god of mischief and the god of thunder I can watch til the day I die! I hope that Chris Hemsworth plays Thor till the wheels fall off.

I still think his "Son of Coul" line was so galaxy brain to this day.

I just hear Chris’ voice in the first few films and then we get to Spiderhead and I’m like “Who are you and what have you done with Chris Hemsworth?”

I like how over the last few years he has found ways to shoot films in Australia, Thor Ragnarok was filmed there, Thor Love and Thunder, Spiderhead and now his filming Furiosa with Anya Taylor-Joy in Australia too.

Cant believe we're coming up on 11 years of Chris Hemsworth bring Thor to life!!

His best movie was In the Heart of the Sea. Fantastic movie.... I watch it every year

Rush is a fantastic movie, one of the best racing movies ever.

Don't let this real life God of a human fool you with his looks and personality only, he's an excellent and brilliant actor! People often forget how good he really is at his core craft. Him playing James Hunt in Rush is impeccable. My favourite portrayal of his, second being as Owen Chase in Into The Heart of the Sea. I recommend everyone reading this to watch them, you'll love it!

Cabin in the Woods was a pretty classic movie and I might argue it was more iconic than any of these save Thor. But I get why they wouldn't say it was one of his most iconic characters. He had a significant role but he wasn't exactly the lead. I'd be keen to hear what he has to say about doing a horror film though.

Was surprised they only did 5 of his films but glad Snow White and the Huntsman got a nod. Very underrated fantasy film (reminded me of 1985’s Legend in some ways) right before the superhero boom of the 2010s.

Thor acting like a human is amazing. He is one convincing Chris Hemsworth. So we are going to ignore Extraction? He was phenomenal in that movie.

I always smile at his character's death in the cabin in the woods, that is something you see in a video game

Extraction, Red Dawn, Cabin in the woods should have been included with this, underrated actor!

Heart of the Sea was so good and he shined in it. I don't care for super hero genre. But in Perfect Getaway he was discovered💋💋💋

@@jerrywil7012 guys Director Taika Waititi says Thor: Love and Thunder is NOT a passing of the torch to Mighty Thor. Now, Waititi doesn’t decide what comes next at Marvel, so he can only speak for his own movie. The point however, is that Love and Thunder is not set up that way. additionally Hemsworth who plays Thor, has always said he’s happy to play Thor until he’s no longer wanted by the fans or the Studio. Speaking with Total Film Magazine recently and covered by their sister outlet Games Radar. Waititi talked about his point of view and for him, this is not a passing of the torch.
