and yet the guy had to get counciling after taking torrents of abuse when he started to work on topgear. Just goes to show what a bunch of fkn idiots the UK public are.The man is a motoring UK tressure.Always loved everything about him.

Well here’s the thing, top gear shouldn’t have been touched again. Chris’ pieces with Neil that he puts out every now and again, completely shit on his top gear pieces. I do hope he’s being well compensated by bbc BUT I wish he just stayed on the internet and the BBC just killed top gear. I don’t like top gears chris Harris character, he will always be best in videos like this and CHOC.

If you haven't seen it, check out his review of the Alfaholics GTA-R. Chris at his best, and just wonderful to watch.

This video could have been 4 hours long and I'd have sat and watched the whole thing intently.

Absolutely agree, the way I perceive it, these are just some other 'investement commodities' in one big 'portfolio'. What an utter shame!

I could listen to Chris talk cars all day long... His knowledge, love and enthusiasm is captivating...

I could watch only Chris Harris walking around warehouses looking at cars forever. Gutted we didn't hear what he had to say about the Sport Classic, one of my favourite 'modern' 911's - Gorgeous!!

Exactly. These are machines engineered to deliver the ultimate driving pleasure, but their potential is not being used. To use an analogy - what is a musical instrument good for, if it isn't being played?

It's not like I can afford to have a parked Porsche or a driven one but I totally agree. Porsches for me look better used, the beauty of the new or low milage ones is their potencial to be driven and enjoyed, unfortunately like a lot of great things these days their value susperceeds their owners desire to drive them and they end up falling into the investement catagory. I always think, If we were all able to look into the far future we would see that all these cars will one day ceast to exist so why not use and enjoy them whilst you can? Although in England these days driving on public roads is torture so I probably wouldn't use them either....

So glad all of these are pretty much new, perfect for me to daily

listening to CH is just plain therapeutic for a gear head especially a Porsche lover.👍👍

I really loved watching this car collection video. To the owner of this collection, nicely done!

I never expected him to show this stuff to the public but it makes sense if they are going on collecting cars.

Wish I had a shed off cars like that. Chris’s Harris say’s it how we would. Brilliant videos. 👍

It's almost sacrilege that some of these have so few miles, they should be driven and enjoyed

Thing is, once a car has got to a certain age without accruing many miles, nobody is then brave enough to drive it. Like owning an unopened vintage wine, who is going to be the one to buy it and actually drink it?!

That guards red 930 is my absolute dream car....has been for as long as I can remember.

This is the difference between an OG car journalist and a youtuber/influencer. You can actually feel the passion when he talks about the details.

All Porsches are amazing but those air cooled are just something else. I wish I could afford one.

I struggle to think of anything I like more in the "car genre" than videos of this chap looking at car collections. There's another one - arguably even better where he looks at BMWs etc. If you're of a certain age, it doesn't get better than this.

Need to win the lottery this weekend to get that white 4.0 RS. I'll daily it, I don't care how few miles it's got.

If you want to sell some cars than Chris Harris is the right man to advertise them.

Simply put Harris - The Man As most have said, this could've been a much longer video and would I have watched every bit of it...... Of course I would!

3:30 Who ever gonna drive this car in the future please have a look at the front left break disc. Cracks between holes are kind of "ok" but if the cracks starts from the inner to one of the middle holes, I would suggest to get a set of new discs. In general: what a stunning Collection! Thank you for showing us this!

@@MrFloridadaz yeah but it sucks that rich people use limited edition cars to speculate. They take away other peoples dreams because their financial advisor told them is a good investment. Manufacturers should keep an eye on who buys their special editions.

I'm not a Porsche guy, although I do respect them because they're fantastic cars. I think the thing that gets me the most is that the Carrera styling through the years is just so evolutionary. They're All SO SIMILAR. The whole time Chris Harris was popping off all the different names I was thinking, "how the hell can you tell them apart?"

Love the ‘70s 930 Turbo shape. But not having owned one, I’m not qualified to comment. Five Evos and an R35 down the road, still love the old 911s.

As a 996 Turbo owner I feel snubbed but also wish we'd had a closer look at the 997 Sport Classic.

He’s selling - and no quarrel there.....hope they all make a bundle.....but there’s a subtle difference between when he’s full out selling vs just geeking out. When it’s the latter, it’s when Chris Harris is at his very best. And when he’s at his best - for my money - there’s no one better!
