Why the Music in the background???... it ruins the sound

Engine noise is all the music I need.... Please stop putting background music.

Guys he only went to the the TV show with the largest global audience at about 350 million viewers. Hard to miss him.

310+ horsepower from a N/A 2.3 liter 4 cylinder is pretty incredible today, but to do it in 1990 was even more insane

Evo 2 always had 2.5l 16v not 2.3. In 1992 the engine should have had minimum 370hp.

4 pots, natural aspirated, screaming at the red end of it‘s rev band. The sexiest engine sound I’ve ever heard . This car was the reason I fell in love with DTM as a kid.

DTM legend that you can barely hear the engine, amazing car, horrible video.

My all time favorite racing car. Kudos to Chris for getting to have this experience with it.

Great car that brings back memories of one of the greatest ever race series. Alfa 155 ti still my favourite tin top of all time though.

Can you picture an Alfa 155 just 'pipping him at the post' Mercedes are bought with an astute mindset, Alfa's are bought via a passionate heart.

They don't make them like they used to.

Where is the oversteer? Wanna see it pushing the limits of grip again

Toto Wolff drove it at the Tourenwagen Classics meeting at the Nürburgring, supporting the DTM in 2017.

has anybody mentioned yet that this would have been a much better video without the music? because i think people would want to hear that beautiful engine sing its song instead.

W124 was the E class chassis. This is the w201 "C class" chassis. Great induction noise of dtm cars in that era. Todays wtcc cars sound like crap with turbo 1.6 engines

Racing cars back in the day looked similar to the normal cars on the road nowadays they look like space ships

I’ve heard stories that the dtm 190s were actually efi unlike the road version who were cis. Not sure if true but it won’t surprise me.

You know what chris, you are a awesome driver, but you got to know no one is perfect, no one can be good at everything, so why don’t you just stick to what you are good at and let your driving do al talking?

I love the car, but I don't like this video. It is very short and overall with the music etc. I just find it not immersive enough. Still thumbs up from me for the effort, take the critics and improve in the future.
