I'm happy to see this comment. I thought about writing it myself.
Man. The most inspiring story ever. I got a tattoo, not for the name of the movie. the idea that somebody even at their lowest can pursue a happy life really moves me.
This is the role models we need now
Sometimes movies change too much because from what I read about the real man, he endured a lot more than the movie shows. He even sold coke and did whatever he had to do to make ends meet during his climb to the top.

If you gotta sell coke to get by, maybe hold off on having a kid or something. Idk.

And his firm was shut down for being a boiler room. He was scamming people like the Wolf of Wall street
🌟"Baby steps count"...💛GOLD💥🔥🔥🔥
What a fantastic interviewer. Major props to him
Very inspiring story. The American Dream happened for him - of course he MADE it happen. But that's part of the Dream too. Its the drive inherent in our soul. Not everyone ever summons that from the depths. And even some of those who do, don't succeed.

Success is not guaranteed for anyone. What is guaranteed is failure if you don't keep trying.
Quite possibly the most impressive man ever.
Pursuit of happiness and Tylor Perry's Acrimony really are inspiring movies for those who slack and procrastinate on them dreams....keep pushing🎯🚀🚀🚀
Amazing interview!
Love this guy! Great interview
"We give you too much". DAMN! Amen and amen. I know people who've gifted their child a Porsche or other high end car for graduating H.S. What's next? Our society is stifled by youngsters with an entitled attitude and a fervent desire to be famous for doing absolutely NOTHING. Thanks Paris Hilton and Kardashian kids.

Imagine if everyone in the black community had this man's resilience and outlook on life, with all the help available to minorities nowadays...

Not just in the black community but in Life. Just an amazing story and Man And an amazing cast don't anybody could have done a better job as him Or the other parts as well
Congratulations Chris. 🎉
powerful powerful story
Only the best actor in the world could have pulled it off.
Notice that race was not mentioned once in this interview. If it were today, the whole interview would be focused on "Oh is so amazing how a black man made it big." They focus just on the fact that this a story about a man rising about hardship. Morgan Freeman was right, ".... the only way to end racism is to stop talking about it...."
He said in another interview his child was 14 months old. Not 24 months old

Done intentionally...
The only thing I never noticed in the movie that he should’ve done was have faith and pray.
He's very cocky now 👎🏽 it's like he forgot where here came from.... money is very significant.... And the main reason for his struggle and ambition... Now that he has it he says that the money doesn't mean anything...Come on sir
