No, they need to TOTALLY re-invent Top Gear. Just getting rid of Evans is not they key. Matt Le Blanc was by far the worst out of the two main presenters, WTF was he doing there??

Regarding doing it wrong, the driver was underage without a license. The front side was damaged from having run into a parked vehicle from an apparent joyride gone wrong. The driver was clearly panicking, trying to effectively hide the damaged vehicle before local law enforcement found out. The old lady was the young driver's grandmother, and most likely the owner of the white porsche cayenne.

DIW: She was the mother of the Chinese kid who didn't have a driver's licence, and ran from a scene of an accident, and got home to 'park' his parents' Cayenne. There are so many DIWs here.

That Doing It Wrong had to be the aftermath of a hit-and-run. The individual continued to operate the vehicle after it was obviously disabled. The individual is desperately trying to ensure no one can locate the vehicle from the roadway, hence storing it in a garage. Hit-and-run.

New Top Gear didn't work because they tried to recreate something that could never be recreated. That just pisses people off.

I don't know if someone said it already but the Cayenne vid is from Vancouver BC. It's a 16 year old unlicensed driver trying to escape into the garage after a hit and run...that is the damage on the passenger side.

FLD Crew, I regret to inform you about that extremely late news. Im not sure if you know this or not but this batch of news in this episode especially is not the most recent. I am a long time viewer of the sho(a few years now) and watch the show religiously (except for the mini video series, didn't care for those much). Not trying to throw shade but the new AM RB 001 should have defiantly been mentioned in todays news! This is one incredible car that is blowing up social media and not a word about it on FLD!? Instead I can relive the Panamera story from 4 days ago. Not trying to throw shade, I'm just a fan with a claim...also if FLD needs a new topic researcher (non official title) I live in NYC, just saying.

personally I think the whole Chris Evans Top Gear thing was high expectations Jeremy Clarkson was separated from the show because of him being who he was I mean sure he pissed off a lot of people with what he said all the time butt he did it for entertainment purposes it shouldn't be chastised for trying to make a joke even if that joke is offensive to some it's still a joke and people expected Jeremy Clarkson Richard Hammond and James May from Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc and those are shoes that you can't fill those shoes and people expected their shoes to be filled but then got mad because they were copying them oh well

TOP GEAR DIDN'T WORK (for me) was because they duplicated the entire show on the previous cast. Catch phrases and jokes just couldn't be delivered with the same finesse. I hope to see more of Chris Harris, maybe less Matt Leblanc.

Erika has presented, as has A.K. and they did fine but that's not their strength, just like it's not mine either. I'm OK with Paige on the occasions when Derek is unavailable.
