My friends would laugh at me when I was young i grew up listening to CDB. I knew all his lyrics by heart. I truely belive music that touches you inside never leaves you. Thanks for the songs Chris.

I agree, as a teen found The Getaway album. Music meant so much more to me after that. Always get a little envious though when I am singing along and he goes into those high ranges where I can’t follow .

Many of my memories of my teenage years are tied to his voice, his songs. I love his voice!

Chris De Burgh has what I call an "anointed" voice, as does Celine Dione. Songs that get past the soul and right into your spirit...that's a gift from heaven.

Saw him in concert waaay back in the 80s...I was so excited and it was so worth it!! Love him. Unapologetically.

The best version of this song I have ever heard.

This was one of the great songs from his geat period - I don't listen to the new stuff so much, but back in the late 70's and early 80's was in a league of his own. The voice still goes with me when I travel. Thank you for posting. This is an original performance with a lovely sound.

Truly a great songwriter, and this is just a fantastic arrangement! If it doesn't move you, I'm not sure you can feel music, or perhaps just that you haven't felt it long enough.

Chris de Burgh is a great musician, his voice is unique and he is a very nice person. His jokes are funny. He does not have to pick on other people all the time -like Bailey does- to be successful.

As with all videos posted, when I see the dislikes, I wonder if the people who vote dislike would like to make a little video of themselves and show us all what they have to offer in the way of beautiful music. Thank God for one of the all time great writers CDB!
