This man was a beautiful human being in every way possible. Honest, humble, incredibly talented and just simply awesome. He is one of my heroes and i hate the fact that he is no longer with us. Chris, wherever you are, we love you so much. Rest in peace.

Worried moon shining bright Can I sleep here tonight right beside you? I got a long way to go I'll be off in the morning And I hope but I don't know If she will have me back again Or only want me for a friend And leave a stain across my heart That never washes out Nervous moon In the clouds There's a halo around your proud face And I'm glad that we're friends I might see you again Sooner or later, I guess Yeah if it all goes wrong And I'm a heart without a home Maybe you can talk me out Of doing myself in Worried moon I'm afraid of what's to come Worried moon Yeah, tell me what you know Worried moon You see further down the road Worried moon There you are, looking down I'll be here on the ground if you need me As I dream of a ghost Of a love that has died Or maybe not but it haunts me now Worried moon I'm afraid of what's to come Worried moon Yeah, tell me what you know Worried moon You see further down the road Worried moon Looking up, you are gone I got into the city at midnight All these eyes looking on Make me blind or put me down And the noise just drowns me out Worried moon I'm afraid of what's to come Worried moon Yeah, tell me what you know Worried moon You see further down the road Worried moon Dirty moon on the rise Orange as fire but a bitter cold You'll remember me I know 'Cause I have moved to another coast With a new love to call my own Maybe one day you can bathe us In your blue light Worried moon Worried moon

Truth Peace yes he was married, I don't believe happily towards the end. He loved his kids immensely though. I still don't believe the suicide narrative, I haven't from the beginning. Too much evidence and facts ignored and instead finger pointing towards his lyrical content and depression. Chris was a master lyricist who wrote about many things...he was intelligent, deep and expressive. Enough so to be silenced imo.

Some people scream out their pain, because it's the only way to get it out. Others sing it. In a few cases like Cobain's "You Know I'm Right", it's both at once.

It's said that Worried Moon is like a letter to Susan Silver. Read the lyrics again with that in mind. It's like he's saying we're friends now maybe you'll talk me out of doing myself in. One of his loveliest songs lyrically.

Absolutely heartbroken…..not been this sad since the passing of Michael Jackson….Chris is another voice that this generation has lost…not only one of the most amazing songwriters of our time, but a good person at heart…from iconic rock anthems, to impeccable covers and even a James Bond theme…whatever his voice touched was pure gold…Rest in Peace Chris Cornell…was waiting for the day I could've seen you live :( ...I was spellbound by the Higher Truth album and today it holds a heavy place in my heart. I met him a few times, and he was as genuine as they come, and very humble...and sarcastically dry and funny....I truly loved this man, first for his music way bakc in the late 80's and we ( our generation) grew togehter I feel a complete void....at the same time I feel so bleassed to be in his space and time, at the time, together on this planet....altho, I still cry, every. single. day. something new hits me and BAM....

Chris was awsome in all those bands and in solo. Both bands were 2 of my favourites bands of alltime. They had great names (and it's rare) with significant and simple meaning (thanks to Chris) and amazing songs that sounded like no one else. I would love your input on our last video from our first album. It got the attention of one of my heroes Joe Bouchard (ex bass player founding members of BÖC) who is following us on Soundcloud but returns from people who likes same music is always the best. If you have just 3 minutes to listen and a bit more to comment, that would mean the world to me. Keep rockin' : kzread.info/dash/bejne/m2WauLSQZt2Znpc.html and Happy new year

My loving thoughts that he was living in despair and depression as most musicians are running on a higher level than us. He was on meds and I think it was truly an accident of his lost. The pharmaceuticals were wrong in loading the pharmacy with opioids and other heavy duty uppers to lift the spirits of the innocent. His song “Scream” and “Murder Of Blue Skies” tell his truths of his inner most feelings. He needed Love and Understanding!!! He was a Great Man who was misunderstood. This World Mourns His Tragic Lost Forevermore. I listen to him everyday and cry to some of his songs. We will never get over His Lost. Such a Wonderful Musician gave us the Very Best Of Himself ending my cries of missing Him on a High Note 🎵🎶🎤🤟🏻💋❤️🥰

my ode to the moon The Way I feel you growing stronger More beautiful each day Bathing me in your wisdom Showing me the way Whispering secrets of yesteryear Memories lost as time goes by Singing your sweet ageless song As you teach me about life As I cry for the injustice Of this world in which we came You laugh and tell me gently It has always been this way Life must be lived to the fullest That is simply how it must be Share your joy of living with others And you will find your inner peace By Grace

He was a great guy. really talented. his voice stood out from the rest. he had obvious depression which helped him write these beautiful songs. his music is a comfort to me. wish he could have carried on. why do the good singers always leave us?
