This album was a tribute to Andrew Wood, bringing together elements of Soundgarden and Wood's band Mother Love Bone, which was on the verge of becoming Pearl Jam.

Falling down the Chis Cornell rabbit hole is a good time. Try Soundgarden Beyond the Wheel live version. It's 4 or 5 octaves in one song. There's a version going back to 1990, live at Philipshalle in Duesseldorf, Germany. He's a young pup...pretty raw performance. The studio version is awesome too.
