Chris died right before I graduated high school. Me and a few of my friends had a band all through high school, and we played this song and Doesn’t Remind Me, at a party a couple nights before graduation. Not many people knew who he was when we played the songs, but they were amazed by the songs. Playing music in high school with that group of my friends was some of the best memories I’ll ever have.

I can't even count how many times I've listened to this version since it was uploaded by Chris. obviously, credit goes to prince for such a great song but I personally think this version is the best I've ever heard. still breaks my heart that Chris is gone. he was always one of my favorite singers.

okay so last night my dad was showing me one of his songs. that was like at eight something. then I as I got in the car to go to school my dad turned on the radio. he asked me "do you remember that song I showed you?" I said yeah. and then he continued to tell me that the main singer in the band died.
