i love this!

He later called this album a "noble failure" and I think that was a good way to put it. He clearly enjoyed making it and he got to do something a bit different and gave it his all, it just wasn't received very well by fans and critics. He took the criticism like a champ, reformed with Soundgarden and made an entirely different solo album - unfortunately his final album. I actually really enjoyed most Scream even though it was VERY different to what I expected. His voice was what really sold every song he did.

Yea I know what you mean. That's exactly what I think. I understand that 9/10 of his Soundgarden fans and Audioslave fans probably hate him for his style change, but I'm in that 1/10 that supports him. And I loved Soundgarden and Audioslave especially. Idk it's cuz I'm open minded though and I can appreciate all forms and all genres of art. But, it's not for everyone.

I think the world has just become an angry, stressful place to live. I think there's just TOO much shit going on right now. Maybe that's why the music has become so dilluted and numb. If we're going to bring back the love we used to have for music we need to first learn to love again. I think the easiest way we can achieve this is to just be happy. Be happy with whom you share this beautiful planet with, instead of fighting over your posessions. Peace, love, and understanding says it all.

@locoawise That's just stupid. Chris is still alive because he reconizes the beauty of life something the dead ones couldn't grasp, obviously because they're dead. Not only that but he's still making music, doesn't matter if it sucks. It just proves that he's not just surviving but living. And know that if Layne Staley, John Saunders & Kurt Cobain where still alive they'd say the same thing.

No doubt he is talented but he lost his personality and tried to be some indie artist when he went over to timbaland. Timbaland turned his music into generic garbage and I'm relieved he's returning to his grunge roots.
