the generation that got the Grunge Gods was lucky - you have seen them age as I did Roger Daltrey, Mick Jagger, Neil Young..............I have absolutely fallen in love with Pearl Jam as in they maybe my fav of all time. Hell I am their age so that is cool......and this dude I am just getting into and Chris is really an amazing voice...enjoy Tina - rock on young lady!

looks like 61 asses do not have a heart, this song is beautiful.

I want this song played at my funeral. I don't think he realized just how many people he positively affected or how much. He saved me so many times I lost count. It seems obscene that I'm still here and he's gone. I feel left behind. 😥😥 I want to add too, that I thought how I felt about him was odd considering I never actually knew him personally, but it warms my heart to read so many others describe that they feel the same way. I'm in good company. Our souls recognize pure goodness and Chris Cornell was pure and good and genuine. The sun doesn't shine as brightly ( at least in my world ) without him in the world. 😞

Ok the 63 that dislike this song are brain dead, or they just don't recognize immortal talent.

To me this song is about how two people can get so focused on their everyday problems that they forget about the magic they once had in the beginning. Time goes on and they grow more and more distant from that magic until they forget why the fell in love in the first place and "we" disappear.

April Clarke Every damn day since he died I watch his videos and it makes me sad but I can't stop doing it. I'm an old woman not a teenager and it's weird. My family thinks I'm nuts.

This is one of his finest songs. Powerful words and emotions throughout. He will be missed. Prayers to his family.

What a wonderful soul .

This image reduces me to tears. Simply, Chris looks like so many depictions of Jesus. I love that this was on release entitled "Higher Truth". Chris was not Jesus and I believe he'd be the first to tell you so. That being said, this is such a beautiful picture. I trust he is at peace in heaven and was greeted by someone who looked very, very similar. Love and mercy to you all.

Cornell, in my mind, is one of the top 3 singer/songwriters ever, certainly the cleanest and most expressionate vocalist recording today. Natural talent and a down to earth normal guy that has managed to avoid the typical pitfalls of addiction and maintained his humanity despite his fame. He is a true role model.

I've had this song on repeat all day. I'd never heard it before and I'm pretty sure it's the most wonderful thing I've ever heard.

it took me quite alot of years to understand the mastery of chris. it wasnt the uniqueness of the voice. it wasnt the poems he would bring. it wasnt the images he could portray. it was him, as a dad/husband coming through his songs that hit me. he wasnt a label. he was chris.

To his Daughter. The story is here. Just be ready for taking the truth to the end. It might hurt yet the truth will prevail.

Remember when you didn't even need to know the lyrics and the song just kicked ass, and then you learned the lyrics and then it was like, whoa, dude!? Yeah, I was in my 20's in the 90's....can you tell... ? Glad a lot of these cats stuck around, though....
