Chris Cain's phenomenal talents are only matched by his sincere humility and elegant grace.
THIS is what a guitar is meant to sound like. Can't love this enough.
Chris is arguably the best true blues man alive.

bullshit, he's derivative all bb kings licks and singing style
The best blues guitar player and singer alive!
A humble man indeed..”usually the best are”
Chris is one of the last raw blues man alive. 🙏 Every note he plays is delightful
He keeps BB alive.. amazing guitar playing and tone with great singing
Truly a gentleman in every way and one hell of a singer and player.
Only discovered Chris's playing and music in the last couple of years really, but what a true gent, a beautiful human being, and an exceptional musician.
This guy is one of the most under rated ax men out there
Hey Chris- Remember the good ole days of rocking out at the Spartan Pub at SJSU circa 1983? For all of us struggling students, you made our worlds a lot brighter. Always intrigued by your playing way back then and just as much now. Thanks you so much. Never forget you.
Mr. Cain is one of the greatest living Blues guitar players in the world ! Always a Superman of the Blues !! Thank You so much for sharing your gift with us !
I remember going to Chis’s Y2Cain tour in 2000 In Paulsboro NJ. Our mayor gave him the key to the city.
Ah. Chris is a gentle, humble fellow who turns into a nuclear-powered blues belter when he begins singing. Holy Jim Nabors, Batman!
The gentleman is a great musician without the ego that others have. I had the honour of playing on the same bill as he did in New Zealand 2017 Bluesfest . Cheers to you Norm for showing the world this humble and very talented man.
I'm living in Minneapolis now, but for years I'd catch Chris in places like JJ's in San Jose and on up to Slim's in SF. Every single time I saw him and heard him play, I told myself the same thing: Never forget this. Chris Cain is a national treasure. Blessings to him.

I’ve been to the JJ’s club next to the Jose theater on 1st street. (long gone) Never been to the one on Stevens Creek.
He’s amazing
Here in Argentina he´s God. Everyone loves him and go see him when he cames
Man he’s like this grandpa that you sit on a porch to hear. God bless!
I've been following Chris Cain since I heard the buzz about him at a blues jam in Portland about 15 years ago. What sets Chris apart from other guitar players, besides the huge amount of raw emotion, is the way he slides chords around, all up and down the neck - amazing!
Truly a beautiful guitar the stuff dreams are made of
Every medium to major city in the USA has a local celebrity guitar player who reveres Chris Cain and is his dear friend. He mixes jazz and blues in a tasteful way...he sings like a true old bluesman. He's a treasure - i saw him in a little club once when a outdoor stage was rained out....humble and solid AF!
What a gentleman! Had the pleasure of watching him live at the Fyrefly in Melbourne Australia.
He is the real deal. Simple as that.
I live in San Jose and Chris is a local legend. He can make a 335 sing like no other 😃

Just discovered this Guy (Chris) yesterday and I’m in awe! What an epic talent!🙏🏻
Thank you for this video. A living great! Thanks norm and crew.
Just saw Chris last night at Arts Garage on Delray Beach Florida. He breaks his high E string about 10 min into the second set and proceeds to finish the show playing on 5 strings…..including s few Albert King songs. Albert King on 5 Strings….wow. He is truly a master and one of the most humble and nice person you will ever meet…
just a brilliant, humble and gifted dude. love to see it!
Such a humble guy. Great player.
Boy does he know how to bend those strings!
He seems gentle and decent and we all know he can play
Chris is amazing ! Thanks Norm,Chris, and Jen !
It's great watching people I've never seen before on this channel. Norm loves music, musicians and musical instruments. We win.
Holy... he playes great, and boy his 335 sounds amazing
Chris has the sweetest licks on the planet! The first time I heard "My Mood" and every time since, I get goose bumps!
This is what I absolutely love about KZread. Had never heard of this guy and he pops up on my radar. He's an absolute superb singer and guitarist. Thank you KZread and thank you Chris Cain.😀😃

He’s a legendary performer in Nor-Cal. All out gettin’ it live. Nice work sharing his talent!
Chris...So Sweeeeeet to see you again! 🎸💚
What a wonderful man and player !
Amazing blues player. Just a legend, really.
Thanks for introducing me to chris cain, immediately one of my favourite guitarists
What a genuinely amazing musician, so much soul……..makes me want to practice more!
i just found chris cain this week and i can't get enough. he's badddddd
I'm lovin' the early 1990 Gibsons and Fenders. Nearly 3 decades old, and aging beautifully. Best kept secret for guitar lovers. Chris Cain could make a $500 guitar sound great.
Thanks to you both 💙🎶
And that's why ladies and gents I had to spring for a 335 ! They just have it all, looks and tones for days!
Love his singing and playing!
Such a great and humble musician and man. I looked at his schedule and he's got quite an amazing south American tour coming up. Hopefully they let him come home! One always wonders when our great artists go abroad as to whether they'll ever come home. Because it seems that the appreciation for this level of talent is so well understood and received by other countries yet largely lost on Americans. It's strange and unfortunate.
Wow, a blues cruise with this guy would have been some party ! Fantastic stuff !
Saw my man here in Columbus, Ohio a few months back...he is a Beast!!! Put on a great show and his band was outta sight too!!! Go see him!!!
Amazing, sounds like BB King The old professor Live Free or Die!

Hey! Chris Cain played in the band at Oregon Shakespeare Festival during their production of August Wilson's 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" or maybe "Seven Guitars" (or maybe both).
Amazing player!!! meraviglioso!!!
Very cool video. Thanks for sharing.
Obviously before social distancing, phenomenal singing and playing😊
Wow great pickin and singing makes a guitar come alive
Wow, dude... You can feel those notes. Very rare to hear/feel that.
I happened to be a little club in Redwood City, CA. The name on the Marquee was Chris Cain. This little guy walked out on stage in a three-piece suit and I wondered; Is this the club accountant or a very well-dressed roadie?😂 The little man strapped on the guitar, and I wasn't laughing anymore!😮 What a understated talent! Though... He looks like he's dressing more like Elvin Bishop lately!😂
Thanks for the introduction to Chris - holy smokes can this guy push around a 335. Please come to Chicago CC!
Love from Chicago Chris. sounds so good
great work on the Albert King licks!!!
Really great!
Awesome! 👍👍
Good Lord he made that thing sing!!!
Well now we all know about Chris Cain. Thanks Norm. (I hope that you are all well, cannot wait to see the country come back to its senses and reopen)

David Carter Chris Cain sounds like the most kickass grandpa ever
to be fair,, "channelling bb king" when I saw bb his guitar was out of tune the whole night, his tone was golden but his guitar kept going out of tune so bb just put a lil extra bend to be in tune or sang more(his voice was perfect)

@De Oppresso Libtard man that 335 sound just blooms in his hands
Chris said everybody that plays the guitar he loves. Well in that case, he definitely loves himself because that man can play the guitar. Yeah
One of my absolute favorites,I grew up idolizing Johnny Winter but thank God Chris Cain and so many other great artists are still playing
Super guitarist,love,legend guitarist 🎼🎶🎸❤️🙏✌️🍀👌
Yeah! Herb Ellis, the first Lou Rawls live album. He was absolutely magnificent and so is Chris Cain. Chris you sound best on a Les Paul. Not that this is bad by no means.
Excellent
Awesome Stuff!
Thanks Norm...definitely a new cat that is a wonderful humble guy and has the it factor...lol
