Agree there. Sometimes even slow cars can be fun to drive. I had a Peugeot 107 as my first and I still debate it being more fun to drive than my 1.6 diesel

glad u finally got in a clio, i have a standard 197 and still have just as much fun:) great cars... need to get in one on track, you will love it.

I've had two of these standard aside from exhaust. Amazing little things not huge power but theyove to be thrashed and they handle so well

I terrorised an EP3 type r on some b roads in my 1.6 MK3 Clio, he had the power on the straights though. And a 135i in the wet same road 😂😂. Clio's are so under rated, this 200 definitely is a weapon. It would embarrass a lot of car's. Quality content as usual Ricky!

Nice,nice it seemed to be a great handling car,i think with a cage and 280-300hp and a bit more torque then it has now and it will be sweet,wouldn't go 300+ since you lose that enjoyable grip it has now but about 280 hp,maybe a 40 ish nm torque increase and maybe a 30kg gain of weight by adding a rollcage,think that sound just about perfect for this clio,and they should have made them with a 200hp 2.0turbo from the factory,seems to be a better fit for this car since the chassis can clearly handle it.And btw good thinking by putting that anti rollbar in the back,was thinking of upgrading those to in the long run.Nice video brw,love this channel👍✌️👉

R26 has the diff in as well as the r .My r26 pulled put 240 brake on a dyno with a hard pipe kit k tech induction kit and a air tek front mount . Nice to see people repping French heaps like myself

@@jameconradi8269 be handy if anyone knows the spec on the r26r clutch as my r26 is needing a new one soon , not sure if its worth spending the extra on the 26r clutch kit ?

get back into paddock to gauge & re-adjust your tyre pressure after the first few laps and they'll stick just fine. ad08r's are great for these cars, just need to keep an eye on your tyre pressure and make sure they're adjusted for when they're hot :)

Great project. But I don't recommend tunning it on a stock internals. 225 engines works great when left alone. Tune it above 240HP and you will be picking up postons from the road. Megane 3 RS have that engine that holds 350+ HP on a stock internals.

Love these, mint cars and was crying for a turbo engine as you had to rip the shit outta them.....

The thing with renaultsport products is that it is not ment for str8 line heroes (buy audi, dodge or whatever). But you put into shame pretty much anyone once you hit some twisties. Also fwd with more than 300hp is gimmick at best, often pretty much not usable at all...

The diffs on Renault sport work a dream though. Mine was 320bhp and no torque steer etc whatsoever.

225 engine swap was the 1st swap. 250 are better engines, can handle more torque without forging etc

Stripping a car out is a waste of time in my opinion. The gains are minimal even when saving weight, just makes it noiser. I like power but I do like to sit in comfort too!

Like that it’s under rated, let the others Think its just about power. Clio will always be the REAL hot hatch! Car has pedigree! Check the Motorsport record books on which brand rules them all!
