Chowder was LITERALLY revolutionary in terms of animation and writing. It was a true tragedy that the show was cancelled after only 3 seasons.

Jomarcenter Media child actors are pretty expensive and troublesome. Forgot if it’s union laws or state laws, but they require supervision from a legal guardian, can only work for a certain amount of hours per week, and their acting must not interfere with their education. And those are just some of the laws that I can list off out my head.

You gotta love how the voice actors look like they fit their characters perfectly and then, there's Tara. And to be fair, that's more to compliment Tara's extraordinary range of voice acting.

I personally think this is the most extreme and probably the best 4th wall break ever. Seriously, can anyone think of a more shattering instance than the voice actors acknowledging they have run out of their animation budget, are fully shown on camera and act out a scene of them raising money to bring the animation back?

The title is incorrect. It implies chowder even had a 4th wall

It wasn't hated, it was loved even at the time it was shown, but the stupid Cartoon Network management preferred a bunch of cheap live action programs over Chowder, Flapjack, and a lot of legendary cartoons between 2008 and 2010.

Creative, yes, but I never really enjoyed the setting, and it had its fair share of dumb humor between the creative stuff. Not to mention it was competing with a lot of better cartoons like Phineas and Ferb and Spongebob, and Chowder still felt like a step down compared to previous Cartoon Network shows like Kids Next Door and Teen Titans. Chowder is a show I only learned to appreciate as an adult. I remember thinking the art style was ugly, and while I still kinda agree, I care a lot less about that now.

I always thought shows like Chowder and Flapjack set the bar for cartoon humor so high nothing would ever top them. Like, you'll never see a scene like this in any other cartoon without them breaking the illusion that it is a cartoon.

This was so wholesome for some reason, also I had no idea Tara Strong voice acted on this show
