@@GramophoneMD I was going to by a Dragonfly this week (as the original Mojo was not on sale anymore) and found on internet today that the Mojo 2 has just been released. I prefer (over the Dragonfly) the fit&finish, the made in UK and the ability to drive a wide range of headphones. Most important, I need an amp that can follow me anywhere in the house.

@@GramophoneMD if I have to use type c as input I need to have another micro USB for charging. For the asking price they should have included type c for data and charging and balanced output. For that they will take another 5-7 years.

So I got one finaly. Sound is great, even when connected to the speakers instead headphones/IEMs. But one potential problem, when I connect mojo 2 to the charger and I touch mojo's case, I get these slight vibrations under my fingers, like there is an electric current leak into the case. Is this normal or I might have a faulty unit?

  • @GramophoneMD

Hi Pistopit, thank you for your note. It's hard to diagnose this issue without physically testing the unit, so as to judge how slight the slight vibrations are. You may want to reach out to Chord via their main contact page: chordelectronics.co.uk/contact-us

@@GramophoneMD thnak you, I might do just that. The vibrations are tiny, it is similar with some laptops when you touch their cover and there is a feeling of electric current tingling your fingers. I would think that in sensitive device lice DAC this should not take place at all as this potentially creates noise to other components inside the device. would you be kind to let me know how long does it take you to charge mojo 2? Mine is keep flashing blue even when for half a day on charger. The manual, sadly, does not indicate these charging times.

@@GramophoneMD hi I did. They did not reply to me directly in regards to vibrations issue but gave me few hints on what charger to use. However, replacing the charger for reccomended one did not help with vibrations. I am in the process of replacing the my unit, hopefully the second unit will not have this problem, because if it does then I guess this is potentially normal or there is nother factor why it happens for me. After raching few youtubers most people say that this is not normal and they did not experienced anything similar with their devices. Tahnks again for your reply.

seems more like a new revision than an actual mojo 2, the taps are basically the same they just threw a usb c and a eq button on there.

Saw bunch of KZread reviewers. I see that all of them praised the Mojo 2. No one mentioned the lack of a balanced output, only 8 hours of play time, the exaggerated price tag. “Chord is on the path..”. Are you serious? It’s 2022. Still looking for a legit review.

Definitely won't buy one from your store. I bought the original Mojo from your store and had an issue with clipping. The replacement I was sent was clearly used and had extra screws falling out of the box. Always fun when you spend $529 on a product.

@@GramophoneMD Ordered a new Chord Mojo years ago. Had a clipping issue when I listened to it. Contacted the seller and they claimed that the DAC wasn't the issue. I insisted it was and sent it back for a replacement. I received the replacement and it was clearly used. Had extra screws in the box too. I assume it has been opened up. I basically gave up and kept it all these years. The battery has never been right but it works so there's that.

@Gramophone Hello, even with the above comments I ended up buying a Mojo 2 on Amazon from your store. I'm wondering if you can help me. The unit might be defective. It basically has no volume. I have to turn it all the way up to hear anything at all. It just started happening out of no where. Is there a setting I'm missing? I tried different cables, headphones and sources and I get the same. The white menu light no longer illuminates either. Any help would be appreciated
