I just received mine. I really enjoy Moon Audio's silver cables with it. I used to find silver cables being too harsh for Hugo 2 and Mojo but it's not the case for Mojo 2.

Is there an audible noise floor with sensitive BA IEMs such as Campfire Audio’s Andromeda or Ara?

Can I incorporate this in my main system? No dedicated fixed line out....

I have the centrance hifi-m8 v2 worth an upgrade?

Needed to be a type c connector, otherwise the update has been eagerly anticipated.

Even after these years of chance to do proper successor, chord still screwing thing over and over again. Mojo is good back then, but today time with that ancient poly with micro usb and still short battery life. Only dedicated chord fan would buy these. Hope the sound atleast comparable with similar priced DAP nowdays. If not i dont know what the selling point, pocketable dac/amp is not the same as 7 years ago, people rather buy DAP nowdays. For the price of mojo 2 and poly 2, you could get an Ibasso DX300 and have extra bucks to buy a good cable.

Seems more like a new revision than a successor. After 7 years I was hoping it to be a mini Hugo 2 in terms of performance.

Why would they make a mini Hugo 2 ? If it’s better than Hugo then it’s an incredible achievement

i have the first mojo in 2016. i use with my mac. always pluggedin. there are some issues on mojo. only work on battery power. then i switched to another dac&. in mojo 2 can we bypass the battery power when use with type c cable?

Anybody knows what the color codes are for the volume on the Mojo? I see it go thru different hues as I go up or down. THANKS

If they discontinued poly and merged into one “screenless DAP” device would’ve been interesting. Understand why they went with this , I’m assuming you can control all settings on Mojo 2 via Poly?

Ie have microSD expansion but also dedicated hard drive in mojo & poly sized unit. I’m sure they’ve got ability to do so.

Between Chord mojo 2 (connected to a smartphone) and Astell & Kern sr25 MKII, which sounds better?

You certainly can! It sounds quite good and will work even better than the original Mojo for this setup due to the Mojo2's desktop mode.

All is great about Mojo 2, except that battery is charging forever and desktop mode is rarely seen. But who cares, sound quality is just superior. I was recently in the local park listening to music with mojo 2 and Beyerdynamic Xelento IEMs. Through my 30min walk, on three occasions I was looking around if the sound I hear is real or it’s the music. It was music every time. I don’t know how they have done it but the realism of the sound through this thing is just on another level. Some sounds were creating illusion of incredible depth, like I was hearing them from a very far away.

Can i connect a cd player via the coaxial input?

Moon Audio, I think you're wrong saying there is only a small increment in taps from 38,000 to 40,960. The original Mojo 38,000 taps ran at half-speed, so effectively 19,000 taps. The Mojo 2 40,960 taps run at full speed. The Mojo 2 should be a substantial audio upgrade over the Mojo.

@@dante19890 That's not the point Rob Watts was making. He was sying there is no difference between X-taps at full speed vs 2X-taps at half speed. It means that the tap filter has slightly more than doubled between Mojo and Mojo 2. Whereas Moon Audio said it's barely increased. Moon Audio also said that the sound quality improvement was minimal between the Mojo and Mojo 2. Also saying that was due to barely any tap increase. Whereas there was a consdierable tap filter increase between Mojo and Mojo 2.

@@greenbow7888 that just means the mojo did more with less..and if running them at half speed isn't having a negativa impact than the differences is as small as the number suggest. It has been over 7 years since the mojo released, one would hope we would have a Hugo 2 performing device with the mojo class by now. Hugo 3 is probably also around the corner in the next year probably.

Rob even stated that the mojo had 38.000 taps to 40.960 was a small increase and the half rate didn't mean anything and that mojo 2 was a small incremental upgrade over the mojo 1. It's certainly not Hugo 2 level as many of us expected with after 7 years

Can you take out that chip inside Apple CCK and put it inside a dragon USB? It’s so annoying dealing with that adapter.

Nope. We asked Apple a long time ago if we can do this with our Apple MFi certified cables. They rejected it. Why would Apple want to lose money on selling the CCK? At this point most companies like us don't want to deal with the painful MFi certification process. That's why folks like Chord won't do it either. It is easier to get something approved by the CIA than through Apple. 😐

Is it exciting? Really? No Bluetooth, no balanced and no screen. Again, I ask is it really exciting. I had such hope for this device.

The hd800s is an is a hd800 that has had dampening applied. I think not.

Bought one. Waste of money for me. No better than my Zen DAC V2.

@@CaptainCrunch823 Very slight, but not at a volume where I’d ever use it. No issue at normal or even lower volume levels. I’ve been comparing with tidal hifi and hi-res and still feel the Mojo 2 is no better than the Zen. In fact when connected to my phone via usb c there is an annoying click every 4 or 5 seconds with the Mojo 2, not present when using a cheap phone dongle, which makes it not fit for purpose as far as I’m concerned, so I’ll be returning it.

This company has the WORST customer service ever. I ordered a Poly mojo and it is like begging to deliver it. Really disappointed

Mojo2 is hyped, looks childish with the colored balls and does not even has a balanced pcb. Micro usb?? Really? Idiots. Save your money.
