Isn’t little Freddie a star silageing looks it going like a dream Nick Hoyle certainly has everything under control what a tremendous outfit he certainly has some top class gear I really do love silage time it’s the best time of the year and Evie another top class video really interesting loads of content X

I grew up on a farm started driving tractor doing tillage by my self at age 6. Glad to see Freddie shows a interest in farming.

Good Video always good to see a team working together. That electric bike: the ones with the Lithium Cobalt battery chemistry are the ones which spontaneously combust. The more modern Lithium Iron Phosphate battery chemistry are much safer. Hope you have the latter. Freddy is a star and I reckon he knows it. May the good weather continue.

yay for the sunshine. good on you. those foragers get bigger and bigger. those jcbs are brilliant for the big jobs. only seems about five minutes since you did last years . remember how wet it was . now youre going again. what did little one think to the chopper sat up there . bet he loved it. i remember the back ends pipes always playing up locked or blocked with oil or worse leaking hydro oil out .oh bugger tractor trailer is set sod it. just proving how much stupid weather you had. one crappy patch and oh crap. fair play to the chopper driver for the pull out. mr whizzy strikes again . hold on alex. blimey. considering you are supposed to be on holiday, i cant work out how im seeing this if you aint there . technology i presume . thanks smiley evie and all of team smiley and the contractors for a good insight as always. thanks to all the mr and ms whizzies for the entertainment as well. youre right about that roof being tight when they are tipping. do youre neck in looking up and driving. thanks again evie till next one. big yay.

My daughters 9 and 3 are the great granddaughters of a dairy farmer and we have friends who farm. I take them with me every time I help out running equipment or trucking for them

Used to hate tipping in sheds! Great video. Great time of year!

Not many farms even produce farm kids nowadays, so kudos to you for being the exception. Safety is important, but I saw nothing unsafe with Freddy. Farming is imprinted on my kid’s brains. So is aviation, mathematics, the art of several languages.

Holy cow... the speed those machines are munching up the grass😮 and reasonably quietly too😊 it's great to be around the machinery, yet i can tell you now you never ever ever walk behind a tractor and trailor no matter what... I walked behind an open flat bed trailer one time and the driver started reversing without looking 'thinking' all was clear.. I ended up knocked down and lying underneath the trailer and only for my foot got caught on the tow hitch and pushed me along the grass, the tractor wheels would've run over me.. it happened in the blink of an eye, only for the driver stopped to go forwards again the consequences could have been deadly.. never get complacent with safety around a farm...

Your children will be sooo lucky to have you as their Mum, Evie.

Interesting. Still done over here. Not do much for Dairy or Feedlot. Mainly for Dryland fodder conservation in good seasons. Underground silage. May not be dug up for many years.

That's the lightest crop of silage I have ever seen, come to Ireland and we will show you what a proper crop of silage looks like!
