This is a Choppin' It Up that I hold near and dear as I've always wanted my brother to open up on what he's gone through in his lifetime. It might be hard to hear some of these things, but the purpose of all this is to show you that no matter what you are going through you can change and you can become whatever it is that you want to be, simple as that! Hopefully you enjoy this video, if you do make sure you drop a like, leave a comment letting us know what you thought and subscribe if you haven't already!

Respect man for turning things around. I guess the biggest take away from this video for anyone with depression or suicidal thoughts is to get help and don't go through with it. Awesome things can still happen to you no matter how low you may feel currently about your life. LP - any chance that guy who said you'd never reach your goal weight was trying to stoke your fire to get you motivated or was he 100% sincere? Great video guys, I'm sure it'll help a number of ppl out.

I've suffered from depression for a year or so and I've been watching your vids for a couple of years now! I've always loved your videos because of your positivity in the face of your personal struggles.. I've noticed LP on your channel and I had no idea that he shared in the same struggles as I did.. Hearing about his problems reminds me that I'm not alone in this fight and I look forward to more videos like this and I hope LP posts some similar content on his channel (because I just subscribed)... keep posting vids guys because there's people like me who truly look up to you and look to you for life and fitness advice (and a good laugh)! I'm also a vegan and watching your vids keeps me motivated in my lifestyle change! It's so refreshing to see another bodybuilder who recognizes the impact of our food choices and decided to make a change! Keep up the good work boys! Much Love!

I love you guys! LP thanks for sharing your story of the dark place, I too experienced it once. I actually drove to the river and started walking to the water determined this was it, I couldn't take anymore. As I got to the waterline something stopped me in my tracks and I sat in the sand and started crying my eyes out. I thought about how much it would hurt my parents who had just went thru the death (natural/sudden) of my brother. Then I thought about my kids, and my brothers and sister and anyone that it might hurt and I could not do that to any of them. I am so glad that I never went thru with it because I can see now why I was to stay. Both my parents since have passed, dad (terminal illness induced suicide) mom (47days later of a broken heart) and a brother (depression induced suicide). What I have learned in the past 5 yrs I am stronger than I thought. So if anyone reading this is in a dark place, Please realize this is only temporary and that I may not personally know you but I Love You and I am sure I'm not alone in loving you. ❤❤Thanks for the video Brian & LP!❤❤

I grew up very similarly... monday tuesday at one house, wednesday thursday at the other house, friday, saturday, sunday at house one. And that alternated every week. It totally sucked as my parents lived 45 mins away from each other so i missed out on a lot of stuff as a kid having to go back and forth constantly. All my friends lived on my dads side of town lol i had no friends at my moms.

usually when you don't remember some part of your life, it's because the mind is blocking it to protect you... since most probably the chemicals in your body got really screwed up when u were living in that time :) I have the same blank time of when my parents separated and got divorced and some parts of middle school where i was bullied a lot and even contemplated ending my life.
