Because his music is an expression of his own longing for everything that he loved but had been lost after the 1831 Polish uprising. In exile, never to come back home he wrote in his diary“I pour out my grief on the piano,” and to his friend “ I play the piano, have a good cry, read, look at things, have a laugh, get into bed, blow out my candle and always dream about you all.” and “Graves behind me and beneath me, everywhere,” “a gloomy harmony arose within me.”

Seriously, when I listen to Chopin before sleep I wake up with a calm peaceful outlook regardless of chaos and stress. Another fave is lying on my airbed outside and watching the birds glide above on the canyon winds...

Chopin is one of the few greats that I can listen to all day and never get bored. It's like the music is talking to me in a way that says everything will be alright.

Oh, Chopin’s Nocturnes are so sublime and so soothing for the night.

Chopin's contrapuntal genuis really shines in 432Hz because you can hear the whole overtone series which in this recording bring out the melodic strands from the left hand which is much richer than one would superficially judge. His use of space and intervals in his melodies reminds me of the different voices in a fuge at each independent range. The reverb is very fine also. Thank you for sharing this. What a gift! On Chopin's music rests a grace from God. I truly feel Chopin understands my sufferings more personally than any other composer.

I listen to Chopin's Nocturnes every single night. It eases my autoimmune pain and let's me sleep. I recommend it to fellow autoimmune patients. It does ease the pain.😊

Согласен, эта музыка может передать невиданные эмоции. Ноктюрн до минора звучит в красках светлой грусти, и в некотрых моментах можно даже пустить слезу. Действительно гений, это говорили все. Рубинштейн говорил "Каждая нота Шопена - это золото, так что слушайте".

Suave como el viento estremece cada sentido y recorre el cuerpo ... Te impregna de algún pasado.. te sube y te baja... como si tus pensamientos bailarán... I felt in love with classical music thanks to Chopin. His music is happy sad :) It is sad but it makes you happy.

Listening to Chopin every night me get a good sleep. This is one of the very few things that makes me feel happy, understood and peaceful these days...

I love Artem Tenkeli‘s interpretation of Chopin’ s nocturnes - so tender, delicate and full of emotions.

Chopin was born in Poland however his father was French. He loved Poland, and He expressed His sandness that Poland stopped existing and lost it's independence. Many people in the World still thinks that Chopin is French... or Copernicus is German... It's not true! They are both Polish.

You can see Chopin himself playing by listening and watching the great pianist Rafal Blechacz, a Polish musical genius who has won the International Chopin Prize in every category. He plays masterfully, flawlessly and with great sentiment. Many people believe he is Chopin reincarnated.

Chopin lived and worked in a time before packaged entertainment. Music and conversation was a way to end the day after dinner. If we were to see Chopin play it would likely be in that setting. Nocturn = evening music.

Chopin's dreamiest pieces. So relaxing and re-ordering, mentally. I have Chopin in my CD collection, but not many of these beautiful, drifting along nocturnes. With the occasional click and tick I hear, this sounds like a vinyl being played.
