Thank you for the no-nonsense review of every class, and the lists in each section was fantastic..! Played back in 2016 a few days but didn't get into it and everything was deleted when they switched to a new vendor. Looking to give it another try. Thanks for narrowing my list to start--Ranger, Shai, or your personal favorite, the Valkyrie..! And at $0.99 to start on Steam, you really can't go wrong. The graphics look greatly improved since 2016 as well.

Berserker maegu and drakania seem to be SSS tier based on this list and I’ve never played, picking one of those.

After downloaded the game last week. I was just able to play it now after watching this video because I can't decide what class I should take. 😅

I just snaped a free Black Desert copy from my friends amazon prime he just gave it to me and this vid helped me decide to try scholar and dark knight as a new player.

Black Desert is goated, i even have to sacrifice a character slot to try out Scholar class and she has been my main since xD (basically abandoned my endgame Hashashin class xD)

It's a bit late but I would like to add. For every time ranger shows up. Just assume it means awakening. As awakening ranger honestly top 5 in damn near everything while succession is just ok generally. Edit: Other than large scale pvp where succession is pretty fantastic tbh

I tend to enjoy the high evasion classes the most. I would have to say my top 3 Classes are Warrior, Musa, Wizard. Haven't tried the Maegu yet but it looks fun.

If you like evasion, try striker or mystic. Absolutely busted on all eva.

Just a interesting question, I notice you separated some classes by specs throughout the list so why didn’t you split up nova when you did speedy soldiers and hard hitting, the description for hard hitting was slower classes definitely not Awa Nova but yes succ nova. Just curious to hear your reasoning

Succ Nova is trash no need to split it. Awk Nova is both hard hit and speedy :)) I mean who fking play Succ Nova outside of pvp group ?

Im a new player and im honstly suprised no one plays Hashashin more 😢 thought it looked super cool, like a more volatile assassin kinda reminded me of sand benders from ATLA 🎉

hi i see on ur video, arena of solare striker is good but we dont see him at any point (small pvp or large pvp) can u explain that please? thanks

I got my account wiped back then, is it worth starting over these days? I hear very mixed reviews on the state of the game and dont know what to believe.

I am kinda torn between starting a new toon (would probably go Musa because love the Awakening) for the Season boosts or continuing with my Succession Mystic that was my previous season character. Unfortunately I did not graduate her and I am a bit lost in terms of how to continue playing as her. So maybe a lvl 1 reroll is in the cards for me? :D

If you didn't graduate her, they auto graduated her to a normal toon at the end of the season with the update. You should he able to make another season toon of whatever you like.

I did a wrong reroll on Corsair :)) she's fun to play but her movement is fking bad to move when u need to turn direction. She's just skating straigh into the wall or rock when I tried to change direction

The hardest part of corsair's movement is space + A or D after leashing. Once I figured that out, her movement became waaay more fun to get around. I use to spam space and it never worked, but when I took it slow and pressed space methodically, it made the movement combo way easier

I don't wanna get back into this game I left YEARS ago when they kept tearing their entire combat system apart time and time again but my friends are starting to play it again and I gotta follow my boys (we found eachother on this game so there's that)

I think the Dark Knight has come along way. She’s is okay so well at the moment she clears just as fast as my meagu in stars end. Awakening dark knight has incredible mobility easy flow skills with massive aoe damage.

Corsair is awesome - don't let this video tell you otherwise! Drakania is harder to pull the same numbers, but her kit has a lot of opportunity for high-skill rotations. It's just my opinion too! :D

@@MistaWigglez I can´t find something similar to Crosair tbh. Her overall playstyle with all that water action is just great. I love classes with usefull openworld abilitys. Does she have heat protection in the desert like Woosa? Thanks for the answer btw ^^

I mean, maegu is on almost every list so i might start with her on my first character ever in BDO, abilities seems cool too

You should pick based off what you find fun not what meta is, I think maegu is great start thought, but i just dont understand how playing a broken class is fun if you havent tried harder classes

@@gnzlpico You want the MOST basic and repetitive and chose Maegu? Nah that would be something like Succ Zerker, Succ Lahn, Awak Witch, Awak Wiz, and Succ/Awak Guardian. Not pushing you away from Maegu cause she is a great class, but I wouldnt say she is the most repetitive of the classes.

ok, is there a class that can summon a few minnions or is this game also limited to 1? I know theres the tamer of a single summon that I've seen in a video, but I'm curious before I really play.

Sorry for the late response - Valkyrie is amazing. She is tanky, has good resource management and can heal herself and allies a tiny bit. Berserker and Warrior are good more offensive choices that have great defense capabilities

The sage! That’s his awakening. He’s super fun. He can teleport on an and he hits insanely hard with big aoes

I'm surprised you rated Awak drak so high, most resources I've seen have them pretty low. I went from guardian to drak and I'm struggling with how to make it feel better. I may try Lahn or Maegu

Drakania feels horrible to play. She has some cool skills but she just feels like ass. That's just how she is. Regardless of whether she's "objectively good" or not. She does not *feel* good to play

Personally I wanna do pve only but can’t decide between striker and ninja… he said striker better but I like playing as ninjas

@@shreshth7294 lmao I know right. I’ll make a video on it - thanks for giving me a good idea. Once you can, do the Magnus until you get the storage access reward. That way, you can access every storage in the game (that you’ve found) from any place. Getting storage maids is great for this. Your central market warehouse can carry a TON. Just put all your sellable items in there as storage and take them out when you need it.

Not really, but Shai’s get more lifeskilling bonuses. The best traders in bdo are a random class with a cool merchant like outfit 😝

But I don’t have too much time to get deep into games. This type of class would allow more casual play. Something like merchant in Ragnarok but less cartoony. Thanks for responding!

Is Valk really top 10 in PvE? I feel like they struggle to pull 11k at Dehkia Thronwood, where all the other classes you list are 13k+. Guardian is like 15k. I'll check your other video, but I find it hard to believe. edit: Valk was not in that video. D: edit 2: Oh, perhaps you misspoke at the start when you said "these are the classes that shine at endgame grinding zones" at 1:02 since 7:48 also is "end game PvE" and Valk is not listed.

She is easy to grind with but hard to master - especially pvp. She has a big kit that doesn't need to know much to be effective

Maegu was nerfed a while ago and i believe woosa outperforms her, your PVE doesn't differentiate between early mid and end game gear levels, and your entirely missing the best PVE class from the list, which its omission despite having numerous recorded results putting it on top invalidates the rest of the PVE rankings, and puts everything else into question.

The game is a pve game. Ignore pvp which barely anyone plays unless he specifies its for pvp. Use your brain dude

succ lahn pretty fun to play and a hard hitter the problem is aoe archer is op on pve once you learn to use it scholar is .... stupid pve manchine in the hand of someone can use mouse movement well
