I just wanted to show some thanks as a brand new BDO player. I was in the middle of making my first ever character/trying to figure out classes a bit ago and this video helped me a lot. Pretty nutty that it came out at the exact time I needed it. Enjoyed the content -make more please!

Been watching u since the og days of BDO and I'm so glad ur continuing to provide the best of the best BDO information for new and returning players as well veterans wanting to try a new class out. Keep up the great work and well deserved recognition ur getting.

It's amazing how things changed over the years. Most of my awa/succ choices seem to be "wrong" now. But I still stick to my awa Guardian - which is still pretty solid in high level monster zones. Thanks for this guide, I'll recommend it to new players.

Thanks for the great video, went with Maegu for the beautiful fox particles and been having a chill time on seasonal leveling. Ultimately going to stay on Lahn for my main though, even though I burned out and quit a few years ago, I still love the dual glaives and flying :)

Can we take a moment and appreciate the work the animators did for this game? God damn some of these are super high tier. I really hope even MORE people get into this game. I recently got back to it and man....i'm addicted.

​@@VFRNinjait's not so p2w. You can do everything as a f2p player. It's more pay for convenience but you're handed a lot of paid stuff free just by logging in so I wouldnt let that deter you too much.

@@gabemaurer4969 yeah I started playing it. It's really a lot to learn, but I like it. Really no gotcha or waiting on upgrades to get you to spend. I bought the $45 game pass though. I can't imagine the work that has gone into this game, it's vast.

Thank you very much for such a thorough and well-put overview of the different classes. Just started the game, and one of the things I've spent the most time on so far, is simply picking a class. This is mainly because they all look so fun and cool, so the choice is incredibly difficult. But I'm not complaining. Not being able to choose because you like them all so much is definitely a big first world problem to have!

I'm only 4 months in, trying new classes on my 2nd ever season. This is the perfect video I need to decide which class to play next. Will be using Fughar's Time piece method. Thank you!

Great video! I've been playing since release but mostly just play my Tamer (yeah I've been struggling lmao but it's fun) and I was kind of out of the loop in regard to other classes, so this was definitely interesting to see!

Maegu and Woosa look very fun. I’m going to be playing the game for the first time ever today and just wanted some guidance in general of how classes looked while playing them. Definitely will be trying some different stuff out

i tend to take big breaks from BDO over the years. always fun to check up on these videos. my man Striker seems to stay around as a solid class haha. might give some of the newer ones a try tho, Awakening nova looks pretty cool!

Interesting timing of you making this video - the very recent change to mob respawn timing has really highlighted the weakness of my main class, Awakened Sorc. This is not anything against this excellent guide more of how one change can impact things. Mob respawn is now so high its really highlighting issues within a class, in my opinion. I was trying to grind a short rotation at Sherekhan's the other day, way over AP'd and DP'd for the area and noticed instantly that now my stamina and cooldowns cannot keep up at all for any real length of time. Combined with long cooldowns on movement skills this really made the grind a very stop start affair. I can only hope PA are ready for the changes they are now going to have to make to no doubt quite a few classes to be able to sustain even smaller rotations. Nice to see they promoted your video on the launcher though!

Same! I tried it like some 3 or 4 years ago and just couldn’t get past the clunky ui. Still clunky just not as bad and I really like some of the new classes.

I started with mystic too! I loved her animations. I still have her. Kinda miss using her now. I’ve been a striker for so long

Returning player here thanks for making a quick and concise video I ended up going with the Nova.

0 hours in the game. this gave me the needed push to decide which class to try out first. love the short run down for each class!

Corsair release is what got me into the game. Never seen any character in a game quite like her; except Gideon in Vanquish maybe. Well worth learning all the nuances of the character. If you don't pick up on all the linkages she has to perform long, extended combo chains, your endgame experience is gonna be very limited. - getting to the soft cap with her is deceptively easy, and she has one of the better back stories as well. They nerfed her way too hard after her first season. Seems like Maegu is in the same boat (no pun intended).

Very nice guide. Tamer looks interesting to me. So going to try it out :)

Anders' earlier Class Guide video from a few years back is what got me into the game in the first place starting on the right foot so long ago. This is a huge resource for new players! As has been said countless times, if you are new to the game, PICK WHAT LOOKS COOL!

I think that is where I messed up. I am a new player and instead of picking what I thought we be fun. I picked other classes based on others opinion of easy. I ended up making and deleting double digit classes. I should just play what I want and worry about the rest later. I am starting on another new toon. Luckily, I am on a seasonal server so I haven’t lost too much.

@@bsmall1412 100%. The biggest discrepancy between how well you perform is how good you are with a given class. You are most likely to WANT to improve on something you actually love to play... even if theoretically you picked the "WORST" class in the game, they could patch it in a month and it becomes the strongest. Just ask Sage players, they've been on both ends several times in just the past year alone.

It depends of what type of person you are and then you will find easily your character. For example I like melee characters.

Need more vids like this for new players, but I think difficulty of learning and playing the class should also be shown. While it’s all opinion base anyways it would be some useful info for new players. Tho my opinion is to just go for what pops out, the more intriguing the more likely they’ll continue to play like the rest of us

@@CaledonianCraft biggest mistake i made : some guide suggested stacking enchant fails on bad equipment to make enchant of main equipment easier. HOWEVER since it's seasonal realm i later found that you had some stones that increased % enchant chance and i should be using them instead. Effectively i wasted all my enchanting stones at some trash gear and eventually could not progress in campaign beacuse i was just too weak. Make sure you read tooltips of every item you have. Oh and i suggest reading all quest stories you do. Some are tedious and i felt like giving up / just completing objectives but all in all the storylane is amazing. Even with the shitty ones included it's 8/10

I've started playing bdo again this year after not touching it since, like, 2017, because the P2W felt so bad. Now I'm having an absolute blast and I'm going INSANE trying to play all these new awesome classes. Your channel has been super informative and helpful!!

da fk u talkin about. i played back then p2w was nothing. u probably just casually blamed p2w for every single time u died in pvp when in reality it wasn't. and value packs back then were significantly easier to get on market i eventually quit just because no value pack kind asucked. i could afford it but its like 3 month wait to be able to buy 1 on market. not sure what its like now though. p2w is probably way worse now. but really it has never mattered and even if you do happen to be in an unlikely scenario where you do fight a p2w player your odds are probably better against them than someone less geared who knows how to play.

Best pvp class, im new???

Hey man, first of all thank you for the video it really helped me get a better understanding of the classes BDO has to offer! I was wondering which classes would you recommend for someone playing with 150~ ping and which to stay clear of? I'm interested mostly by the pve side of the game but also would like to dabble in a bit of pvp from time to time, thanks!

I've been plaing Warrior since Beta and been playing it in awakening since it got released and tbh you can play it either relaxed and still have a good easy PVE grind or you can min-max the hell out of your combos and skill rotation and grind pretty fast. The Awakening Warriror grind really feels smooth in my opinion. (As you never really need to pay attention to your ressources, healing and not really need to bring any potions) Im a PVE only player and never really connected to other calsses and get bored of their playstyles quite fast but perhaps it's time to try out some more of them and see if it's worth the change.

Really good video - only thing I would of mentioned is stamina - Sorc might be good but only when you are north of 2500 stamina - before that you will really have to mix things up - imo of course.

Good thing they do have Timestamps. I can just go to classes Im interested in. ❤ I also can’t believe my Awakening Musa have gone through out the Years..

First and finally a new class rankings for BDO. Right now I am going for Berserker for the next Seasonal though I don't know which ones to timepiece it out and I hope that I'll find one while watching this video.

Solid video. PVE probably needs two ratings these days like PVP has. Low-Mid spots and 300+ap spots rating. For example succ Musa still beats awake musa in high end spots like Hex, Gyfin performance wise however if you're grinding low-mid+ spots like pot pieces, centaurs, Hystria etc awakening clearly pulls ahead.

Would be great if you could mention if the skills you show are part of the awakening or succesion kit, especially for new players who have no idea which one they are watching now

#1 for any and all content its Berserker hands down and has been for a VERY long time.

This is not true at all, the new classes like Woosa were and still are way better in many spots like Orcs. If you mean all-around then yes it's top tier.

I last played right when Guardian came out. I remember grinding those naga's once you get to desert and a zerker came out of nowhere and slammed me so I was stunned, did some big move, then grabbed and slammed me and I died. I uninstalled at that time but now I'm coming back since there is no pvp on season servers lol. Dude straight up ganked me left n right after that moment.
