Nope it's not made for riding waves. It's made of wood as described.

Going to a good board will dramatically improve your skimming. No brainer really.

Ask them and see. Pretty sure they need foam around the rails to protect the surface of the flo rider.

Rocks ruin wave boards, they don't ruin a good woods board. I would make your own decision based on your opinion of your conditions.

Pick a board based on where you're skimming, your size and it'll be right. Pretty simple.

@@OXSEnterprises i live in egypt short shore breaks no one really sell skimboards but we can skim here so i know someone who can get me one, he offered a wakeboard ( EPS foam core, compression molded epoxy, removable fins ) wakesurf to skim style, will it work ?

What is the thickness of flatland sir?

Flatland board thickness? Either 10 or 11mm depending on the lay up. The lay ups themselves are very different materials so feel pretty different.

Foam for waves and wood for the flat stuff. If you get a good wood board (spend some money) they last forever, skim for miles and are way too much fun.

Coro, Bay of Plenty, there's a few spots up north. A lot of OK places but no real fire that's been found in NZ. You still haven't said where exactly?

Langs can be good. Most of Coro except all the flat beaches like Pauanui. A lot of aces can be ok when small but can also be terrible. Seems to be common.
