I think Springfield does a great job with the aesthetics. I love my XD9 and the details and the way it looked was a big part of my deciding to go with that over a similar handgun. I love the look of my Hellcat too.

Great video. I've been a long time GLOCK fan, have been carrying a GLOCK for over 30 years. Have dozens of them. However, I am now daily carry the Hellcat Pro which I consider to be better than the GLOCK. I look forward to Springfield offering a compact size Echelon like the G19 which will be a huge seller.

I'm expecting the Hellcat and Echelon lines to migrate together at some point. The Hellcat will get more Echelon-ish features. The Echelon line will add smaller models.

That's what I'm thinking as well. I love my Hellcat Pro overall. That being said, ambi controls with a factory comp option would be icing on the cake. I don't think there is enough real estate on smaller guns though for a multi optic compatible slide cut.

I already got a Hellcat micro for deep conceal, and I will get an Echelon for home defense & target shooting fun. There is no need to have a Hellcat Pro. Just go micro 9 and duty size 9 for me. Great video, I learned a lot about the echelon here.

The Echelon is Springfield's new flagship duty gun. Nowhere on there website says this is for competition use. This is a duty gun/home defensegun, no competition sights, no lighting cuts, it's not even a competition trigger, nothing about this says race gun. Can you use it for competition... yeah, but Springfield's has better offerings for that.

I really like the echelon

We own the XDm ELITE OSP, 5.25" TB, in Springfields "dessert FDE" chambered in 9mm wrapped up on the grip with skateboard tape and on the slide serrations made it amazing. I personally didn't like the way the ELITE felt in my hand I purchased sight unseen ordered straight from FFL I just wanted it... 😂 but now the Echelon is out and that grip looks amazing and there's a little gas pedal plus a TB version and I hear colors coming soon! Love it!!

Depends if you want DA/SA or SF, they are vastly different platforms and polymer vs aluminum.

1) Springfield Armory worked with the Illinois Democratic Party by funding gun control legislation, in exchange for a carve-out for themselves. 2) Springfield Armory doesn't actually make anything, these pistols are imported from Croatia. 3) The company purchased the naming rights to Springfield Armory, they have nothing to do with the iconic arms manufacturer in Massachusetts. 4) It would have been easier for you to just donate directly to the Democratic party, instead of passing through Springfield Armory. But they thank you for supporting either way.
