Choosing to trust your experience over choosing to trust your beliefs. And that is your free choice. I understand the questioner when he thinks that belief is more powerful, because in our society, we have been conditioned to think this way. And that is only part of the "veil". But Rupert shines the light of true awareness onto him and all of us. It truly is all perfect. Thank you.

What I reason from listening to this. I often hear people wanting to go back and do the same thing that they've done before," Oh I had such a wonderful time,I want to do that again." Then they come back and say it just wasn't the same, they say they are disappointed. We cannot repeat an experience. I notice from this talk or what to do is trust every experience. I experience the experience with my seeing tasting, feeling, hearing, smelling. Every experience is different. I am conscious of the experience. I am aware of the experience. I am not the experience. When in an experience of emotion and a belief behind the emotion which tells me this is not right. When I argue with reality. Is my opportunity to go into the emotion and inquire into the thinking behind the emotion. What is holding up this emotion. What is holding up this fear. I love your work Rupert Thank you

While Consciousness is the deepest "continuity," it would seem to make sense also to speak of the "objects" (i.e. perceptions) of the waking-world possessing a relative sort of "continuity" -- which is what allows me to remember "my house" or "my car" or "my spouse" etc. In other words, forms retain a similarity in appearance across time -- which it seems fair to designate also as "continuity." And this is one of the main differences between dreaming and waking-world appearances: the latter are generally more continuous.

I like his clear and practical explanations of non-dual principles, and the fact that he hasn't adopted a pretentious-sounding new "Guru" name. Also, being fairly cynical, I checked the price to attend one of his satsangs , and saw "recommended donation $10-$20". Seems a reasonable price to cover expenses. Eckhart Tolle tickets are $57.00 - $197.00. My understanding is that the more expensive tickets give you the privilege of asking Eckhart a question.

+Mels Ismailov We all live in the same universe, but in different worlds. In one sense we are all radically alone. I cannot experience your experience. You cannot experience my experience. Nobody can live for me, or die for me, experience pain for me or joy for me. Nobody can cry for me or laugh for me or dance for me. I go through all of that in radical aloneness. We all share the same Awareness, which is aware of itself only, the feelings, thoughts , sensations , emotions are body-mind symptoms/person/ego. All minds are separate from each other, sharing the same field awareness containing mind -body..

Ok.. but.. Those sensations don't go away for me. The feeling of the mix would persist until I make it change into something else. All sensations persist until I force them to be replaced. My thoughts don't have form, they are neither words nor image. They possess no substance, they just.. are. When I choose to give them a semblance of form I see that they are all a part of an interconnected fractal web of patterns within patterns.. but without form or substance.. they just flow smoothly within themselves. Parts of this "web" are known to me, and parts are not yet known to me, but I know they will be. Learning something new is akin to.. illuminating a part of the web.. or.. figuring out what it is. However, it feels like it's always been there waiting for me to see it. As such, I always know, and have always known, when something I experience is truth, even if I am not yet aware of why it is truth. It just feels like it is a part of me already.

  • @RurikLoderr

Also.. those two sensations are the same thing.. that's how I experience it.. The differences between them are just.. It's like a wave.. The amplitude, wavelength, and frequency of a wave can change.. but the wave is a wave. Those sensations are the same, all sensations are in a way, but they're just this thing being mixed with itself and making something that is more than itself. I don't think that helps explain it at all, but then again I've not been successful at explaining it to anyone thus far. English lacks the words necessary to describe what I mean.

  • @emendatus1

Not objective! Subjective. People with extracensory abilities can feel other's pain, also any feelings or emotions, also presence of thoughts. But to actually "hear" thoughts is very difficult and only several people among 7 billion can actually do it. Because thoughts are most subtle vibrations. For instance I can easily feel other's feelings and emotions as if they are mine. Also intentions and desires. For example if someone wants to kill me or do some other harm I can detect it. But I cannot hear someone's internal thoughts or speaking to himself. Thoughts are complex. There are 2 kinds of thoughts. Deep and slow thinking. And surface and fast. With the help of deep thinking combined with belief(faith) we can change our future. It is an instrument of future changing. Mechanism is combining deep thinking with particular emotion.

Experience can be result of illusion or deception. Science has no beliefs rather it is based on evidence that can be verified anywhere and anytime. I like Rupert's talks in general but strongly disagree with him that experience can be more authentic than scientific evidence.
