Struggling with happiness is a lifelong struggle for me. Every single thing he is preaching here is 100% fact. It’s very very hard but being positive and happy is OUR choice. Dont let the world steal it from you.

I'm struggling with negativity, I'm always afraid, emotionally weak. I know I'm dealing with anxiety and depression everyday, and it's so heavy and I'm always praying for peace and joy to come into my life because I'm tired of carrying all the worries and fears. And today after listening to this, just like that God gave me the answer, that he already given me that peace and joy since the day I prayed for it. I just didn't see it because I was expecting that it would happen later, or years after when I'm not depressed anymore or when I'm already strong. But he gave me that peace and joy when my mind was clouded and my heart was numb. It took me 3 years to realize that and I'm grateful.

In April 2014, my wonderful (51 yr old) husband passed away suddenly, following a relatively minor surgery, three weeks prior. I was very happily married and it only took 14 minutes for my life to end (figuratively speaking). After a year of overwhelming sadness, it came to me one day that I could “choose” to be the happy woman I was before my hubby passed, and that he’d want that for me. Gradually I came out of that dark room, and chose the happy, sunny room next door to it. It doesn’t happen by magic, it’s hard to leave the confines of how you’re living for the unknown, but YOU HAVE TO DO IT, or else you’ll stay stuck where you are. I literally thought of it as going from one room to another, that I was in control of my choices, and gradually life became worth living again. Great things cannot happen while you’re living the life of Eyore. God luck to everyone on their journey. Maybe I’ve helped just one person today. ❤️❤️❤️

I have been watching Joel for a long time and I stopped watching him, because I went trough a Divorce after 30 years and became very depressed. I then found out I had cancer. I became very disappointed. I have been very sad and unhappy. But today I decided I’m going to be happy . After listening to him, I said I will not let my family and the people around me make me angry and sad anymore. I know God loves me and I will start every morning saying I will be happy . I was homeless for awhile, sleeping in shelters, other people homes, and outside. Through it all I seem to keep a smile on my face. It was God holding my hand through it all. Now I have an apartment. I've been here for almost two years now. I try to praise God everyday for keeping that smile on my face and leading me to this apartment 🙏

I feel your pain my sister passed away on the 25th of November 2021. There is NO time limit on grief, take your time. I don't think you ever get over loss of a loved one, you just get better at handling it each day. My sister is also with the Lord, but it still isn't easy as we are human beings and we are hurting. God sees your heart and will be there for you, keep your eyes on him and ask him for the help and peace, comfort that you need. Thinking of you and your family. God bless .

My mom and my sister died with in 8 months I almost lost it I'm crying almost every and question why my only bed friend mom and my only siblings sister they are really gone I'm trying to accept it that they are really gone thank you Joel your message really give me a strength to go on in my life and thank you so much for your beautiful message ..😂😂😂😂

Pastor Joel always has the right message at the right time. This message is definitely for me. I put my happiness based on people around me and I get disappointed all the time. This man has never visited anyone or laid hands on anyone in need. He is a TV PASTOR that is about it makes you feel good that is all. The real work he does not do. Look at all his sermon all about feeling better but nothing of real work. The hungry and homeless are still hungry and homeless. Look at people's works not their words.

A real lesson in humility and humbleness is listening to this message, with fresh ears, regardless of whether or not you trust, rich, famous preachers. That is what I’m trying to do right now, and I must say I haven’t disagreed with a word he said yet.

James 1:5 So ,if any one of you is lacking in wisdom ,let him keep on asking God ,for he gives generously to all and without reproaching ,and it will be given him.

Kept tosing and turning all night I couldn't sleep because I had binged on alcohol trying to drown my problem I lost my mom 2 months ago it has not been easy at all, I felt I have nothing to live for anymore, and when I wake up this morning I was so sad I couldn't think of anything positive or happy, then I came across this message and it completely changed how I view my day now I feel I'm ready to take on this day and be happy 😊 I have decided to be happy on purpose and never let the circumstances tell me otherwise, I chose happiness no matter what I will go through this day. Thank you Joel God bless you 🙏 ❤

Actually, Jesus said the Christian life will be full of suffering and persecution. But He promises us everlasting life with Him. This isn't our best life. Our best life will be spent with Jesus Christ everlasting

my mom allways said that to be happy is to choose to be happy i was trying to get all the churches together putting the pressure on one church wears these soldgiers out after being used in the most violent move of the sun i was beggining to think that from one church to another when the church bells chime on the hour what about minipulating that 50 miles away to another church to take the load a lil easier on those working and i charge by the hour i am an angel of god
