I feel bad for Choi, he keeps ending up as the bad guy. But in reality he felt like he let his sister down, wasn't good enough for the women he wanted to marry and then got given a job where everyone expects a lot from him. I don't agree with everything he has done recently but he is struggling a lot and because he is the "lone solider" character he feels as though he can't ask for help and people dont often take in consideration how he is feeling. i dont think Will should get the job because he is too much and doesn't think things through, but Choi definitley needs help from Dr Charles and the rest of the team.

Very spot on here, Maddie Booker. I LOVE Ethan, he's one of my favorites and a lot of his missteps were made because he's trying to find his footing in his new position and in some ways, he's treating the hospital like a battleground/war zone, which is good in some cases and not so good in others. It's all about finding the balance and I think that'll happen soon.

What you said right there is the problem. Choi is a doctor meaning it is his job to treat ALL patients... not just those he likes or prefers to treat. Charles was simply trying to give him some helpful advice when dealing with mentally-ill patients but instead of being mature and respectful and taking his advice into consideration Choi decided it was more convenient and easier to blow up at him. Sorry but that is the kind of behavior a child or teenager would exhibit... not a professional doctor. Choi needs to grow up.

Ethan is wayyyy loosing control of everything since the whole April situation. Halstead would of been a better option as chief resident, despite his flaws of going in jumping the gun at times.

@@AriaeG ok so basically at the start of this episode there was a patient in the covid ward who died of acute respitory failure. A resident wanted to do chest compressions but ethan held them back cause thats against protocol, and ethan just sat there and watched the patient die (he wasnt allowed in the patients room). It just interfered with his judgement greatly. Hope that helps (and no this doesnt have anything to do with april)

So what happened is that the patient is a surgeon himself and he operated on himself and he was being annoying to dr Choi before this and dr Choi thought that the patient was trying to hurt himself but it turns out he wasn’t and later dr Choi said sorry to dr Charles

Maggie's foster child got sick and needs a new liver but because he is very low on the transplant list, Maggie tries to find his relatives with a genetics test. Nathalie and Crocket treated a patient with cancer and operated on her even though the oncologist told them not to do it. Because the surgery went well they didn't get fired. In the end, they slept together.

I think dr Choi was of course mad at dr Charles but inside he was mad at himself. He was tough guy who was at Navy he was pain , blood , people who were dying his collegue / patient at Navy burst his lungs and he did't survived giving dr Choi PTSD so everytime something like this happen he wants help whatever it takes . Also his father also was in Navy and I think he never got a lot of love , accceptable from his father. So now he overworking , always has be the best because of low self estem which he didn't want admit. I think that he is suffering from PTSD and depression , maybe also bipular disorder that's why he was taking Prozac ( Prozac which is drug used for depression , mood disorders ) . I think that inside is very sensitive man but he mask it very well . But sometimes he really can show empathy he really can care about people ( his sisster, April , Dr Charles , dr Reese , patients from abusive homes etc... ) He is trying replacing pain with work . But he do has good soul . He is like harvey Specter in medical field also tough guy masking a lot of trauma

I'll be honest, I hated Dr. Choi in season 6, he was so insufferable! Because of being made chief and he was micromanaging everyone! I hate people like that. I'm glad that he ended up giving up the chief of ED to Dr. Archer which I don't like Archer as it is but he is a lot better as Chief than Ethan. Sorry I know it's an unpopular opinion but that's how I feel.

I haven't watched this show, but from the clips that I've seen, Ethan has a temper. He laid it on that Crockett guy.

Yeah he's tempter could get he in a lot of trouble but he relized what he did was wrong, Marcel and Natalie wow now we all know now that they are together romantically that proves it. Will and April working together now this is weird they've never had them work together before. I don't like the new love interest for Brett and Casey, because they were both jealous of the other but Matt was more hurt than jealous. Tell her Matt And I also don't like Adam and Kim romantically next weeks episode is where Kim adpots that child they've found, to me I think Kevin is starting to like Kim I mean he kept on staring at her like he likes her as something more.

He was fine at the beginning like nice and a good guy, still is tbh, it's just the whole April thing really got to him a d he fells like he can't ask for help which is putting him under a lot of stress. Really he needs to remember that his team has his back and I wish he realises that and goes back to normal
